Bottom ?! O.o

bottom is mine and vaughan :Pp

:) Zipi don't overestimate me :-D it's certain that i don't break the 1:23 this week. If i will be very optimistic i will have low 24's this time even with Easy's "spoiler alert" tune :)

lol I didn't (or haven't - I forgot english basics -,- :P) break even 1:25 on both cars... -,-
and like always, in opposite to others, my better time is on the safety car... O.o

Did you try it ? What do you think about it ? (you did select the yellow area with your mouse right ? ;) -just in case someone didn't see it- )

I haven't run the PC since last time, I got caught in a KILLZONE 3 clan tournament, busy day today -grandmother's birthday- I'll try to run tonight and might run tomorrow -day-off in France-. I'll try to post in time lol !

Antares26, MVR08, Detroitbb, red ice, where are you at guys ?

I've got the PC at 1'22.275, quite sad that I missed the 1'21.9xx just because I hit the limiter. Might actually get better tomorrow.

thanks to you i was able to break into 24's :gtpflag:

thanks to you i was able to break into 24's :gtpflag:

That's cool ! Glad to hear that !

I'll submit my times tomorrow, still haven't got a better lap with the PC and I'm a little tired of this first corner that I miss 8/10 times ! I'll try again tonight.

I don't know how these setting would logically work, but if anyone's interested. :)
((This setting was made and remade with the N1))

Height: -15/-15 (The track doesn't have too many bumps but there are elevation changes so I didn't set it all the way to -20, which I usually do on smooth roads))

Springs: 4/4 (The car had natural 4WD understeer at stock settings, so I set the springs a bit higher to lessen understeer frequency)

Damper: 6/6 (DTM cars had the same spring-damper balance, and since those cars were also 4WD, I figured the same balance would work here. Though the DTMs have 6-8 Spring damper balance, I thought 4-6 would be enough since there's no downforce settings on these two GT-Rs)

Toe: -0.35/-0.25 (Now I like my cars loose, I don't feel comfortable when the handling's too stiff, so for a bit of cornering improvement, I set negatives on both front and rear toe)

Camber: 1.5/1.5 (Camber's the very last thing I set on my settings. Why? Because I feel the overall grip of the car increases with camber, and with adequate grip on 4WD, I didn't go for 2 or 3 I usually do with 2WD)

The setting's the same for PC, save for Camber and Toe, which had 2.0/1.6 and -0.30/-0.30, respectively. I don't know if it's gonna be good for everyone, and I'm not the best driver to say these settings are perfect.

I wasn't sure if my 1'26.xxx time with N1 is clean :nervous: (because of one corner)
so I'm uploading my previous best time too. Just in case :P

Done both cars at 1'21.8xx, going to do some last minute pushes before I post my times. I may cut it close to the deadline time. :P

I gotta say, I've never been so satisfied with my lap times. These two cars were great, and the track demanded a bigger challenge. I've done everything I could with these two, fate can handle the rest.

I didn't run the cars again after my first few laps with the N1. I have been in on iRacing lately so most of my free time is going there but I gave the cars a quick run this morning just to participate so, here it is..

Nice turnout for Week 98! Special thanks goes out to vaughan for choosing the cars for all of us (thank you!)!

Congratulations to Antares26 for his second win in a row! What makes it even more special is that it came against MVR08 and easyasashii. Great job, Antares!

MVR08, while limited by time, still managed a very fast time at Deep Forest. He was closely followed by former host and WTAC founder, easyasashii. All three podium finishers were within a second of one another. That's a healthy competition!

Awaren was the top non-podium finisher this week and his good showing moves him into a tie for 5th place overall (tied with vaughan). Rounding out the placements was red ice, zipiol, and vaughan.

I should mention that zipiol, consistently gathering points each week, has moved into 3rd place in the overall standings. Good work, zipiol - keep it up!

vaughan is currently tied for 5th place overall, but instead of being tied with zipiol as he was last week, he is now tied with Awaren.

OH MY GOD! Is this real life? I...never expected this result! I was really expecting MVR to break into the 20 seconds range! I couldn't be happier now that I actually won with MVR around. :)

:gtpflag:

That was a very challenging and fun week ! Thanks Dbb and vaughan 👍 !

To tell the truth I stopped when I had a clean 1'21.xxx (cracked the barrier lol ;) ) with both car but, if I could have been a little bit faster there is no way I would have been faster than you guys, so

see you next week :gtpflag:
