Lol! - Never mind Jordan I was only being picky.

Anyway I really hate it that you have to sign in to see attachments! - I wanna browse like PSC competitions and pics and all I get is red x's I don't wanna post just browse! - Signing in takes too long for me. I'm a lazy kinda guy but when asked to do something i'll do it!

I have to delete my cookies or brother or sister screw me over - that sounded a bit strange didn't it..........

Well wreck my profile and stuff and post randomly....

It currently says 1 days to go. Should it be 1 day to go?
The counter is relative to the date set on your PC. Check your clock settings to make sure you are set to the correct day and time.

Guests can't view attachments to encourage them to join, and more importantly, it prevents people from linking to attachments from other websites and stealing my bandwidth.

Well then theoretically I could jump ahead to New Zealand time and view GTP5 before everyone else. Otherwise the counter should be the same for all of us. :)

I'd just like to know-- when exactly is GTP 5 set to come, since the counter is inaccurate for everyone outside of one particular timezone?

Not really. We all view it at the same time, its just that our numbers/times will be different.

Yes - we'll all view it at the same time. Which is why the counter should correspond to one set time.

Simple. You find out what timezone Jordan is in (impossible :D), then you add the hours difference between your timezone and Jordan's onto the countdown and that will tell you how long you have to wait.

Well Jordan is in Kentucky, so that's Central time, or was that Eastern time...anyhoo it makes sense to me...

... which is why I reffered to it as "one particular timezone"... :smilewink

Let's see, Ryan says Kentucky, so that's three hours ahead of PST (go to TimeZoneConverter.com for yourself to see how many hours ahead Kentucky is)... so, does that mean 15:00, PST?

Kinda seems to me that "1 days, 6 hours, 43 minutes, and 2 seconds to go " should translate to "30 hours, 43 minutes, and 2 seconds" regardless of time zones. Elapsed time is constant regardless of differences in time zones, but I guess that's the topic isn't it.

Also, remember Jordan's disclaimer:

I would also like to add that although I am 99% sure I will launch GTP5 on December 21, 2002, I am a real person with a real life, and if something urgent comes up the release date may have to be pushed back further.

;)

GTP5 will arrive sometime on December 21. Although the counter will stop at 6:00 PM, it could arrive before or after that time, so don't bother trying to calculate the exact time. Just watch throughout the day. :)

;), that little thread, what seems so long ago, must have made a lasting impression on you, eh Klos?

(Count 'em....4 commas in once sentence. That can't be grammatically correct.)

Well it should be on by the time i wake up tomorrow, if it is released somewhere within 2 hours off time. :)
