Love GTP8, on the whole.

But still I have the sponser's messages at the bottom of the screen, even though I am a premium member and have been since joining.

It's a minor gripe, I know, but thought you would like to know.

Thankfully the ad's at the top of the screen have gone, so that's good!

Again, nice job with the upgrade!

You're not alone. I get the sponsors' ads too, even though I'm premium. That doesn't really bother me, but of course it'd be nicer if they were gone like they are supposed to.

Otherwise, I'm really enjoying GTP8! Quick edit feature FTW! :D:tup: Thanks Jordan, and congrats on a job well done!
 
I also get the occational add next to a post too, like I'm getting one next to ballstothewall's post right now.

Other than that, everything is great!

Oh, and one last thing, you said the GTPremium Lifetime subscription will be avalible on this version. It isn't there at the moment, unless you were going to add it later on?
 
I'm getting adds too. Also, it might just be me, but I cannot have no user title, when I select the option to have none, well, nothing happens. :)

EDIT: Nevermind about the usertitle. Its only in my profile that it wont work.
 
I get them too, but I'm sure it's just a minor glitch or something right now.

Ads by google on a narrow strip at the top of forums, and next to the first post in every thread. And there's a sponsors post trailing every thread.

But ya, great job with the update! I haven't had a very thorough look around yet to note all the differences, but so far I'm liking what I'm seeing.
 
Geez... cut the guy some slack and let him at least breath. I noticed it but I was gonna wait it's not like were all gonna die if it's not changed.
 
Yup...as if i were not a premium member, the google ads are seen.

But this is a fantastic job Jordan. I applaud you 110%. :)
 
Please accept my apologies about the ads! They should be gone for everyone now, though. :)

Yeah, it wasn't much, but Premium members were getting ads! I knew there would also be other bugs I have to fix, and I'm suddenly finding all kinds of little things I forgot to do last night. I'm just glad I was able to get up as early as I did!

It's hardly noticeable, and not at all bothersome. But for the sake of completeness....

Hey, good morning, Jordan. GTP8 looks fabulous. In fact, for the first time, I've switched from GTP Lite to the default, because the new coding makes the pages load like lightning. Excellent work, and thanks for all your efforts, as always!

I'm sorry, I know the ads are unsightly, but if I don't have them on the site I won't be able to pay the bills. You can upgrade to GTPremium and you won't see any ads at all.
 
Yeah, but I really dont mind the adds. What I mean is if its going to be an empty post more then half the time it serves no point making it nothing more then spam thus making the page look sloppy. Like I said, I dont mind the adds and I understand that you need them to pay for the site.

Does it help you that much more then tons of banner adds?
 
I agree with Duke, the pages load very fast using default now, great work 👍
