I had sent my qualifier time a while ago (August 6th), but I didn't receive a confirmation PM from Sphinx like i did the time I sent a PM requesting to be added to the registry..
Am I still okay?
I get antsy about these kinds of things........

You should be fine. Just keep your sent PM, and you can also see by clicking on your message confirmation in your PM box whether or not he read it.

I sent mine over the weekend and have a read receipt, but no reply. Since this is the initial run of the qualifier and the divisions have not been revealed, I'm guessing he is not planning to reply to the hundreds of qualifier PM's he will be receiving. Afterall, we do have 557 registry members. :eek:

I don't remember receiving a confirmation either so I hope we're ok!
 
Hi. I have just signed up & wanted to get my time posted for the GTP_Registry before it closed.Does anyone know how long it takes to get access to the PM system?
GT5P is the bomb.com!

I have been putting off doing the qualifier since it started :(

Did a fairly brief attempt and I guess I will have to get on with it this weekend.
 
Wish I would have known about this a little sooner. I have really had a chance to give this many attempts.

Just remember that the object is to give a fair representation of your skill level, not to achieve that accidental "perfect" lap that would place you in a class you may not be able to compete in.

I did maybe an hour getting the course/car combination down and then did a 5 lap run and submitted my best of 5. My time is average at best, but then my driving is average at best. :)

Yes if you look at my time you might think crap. But when we race it may be a bit different lol





I cant get used to the F430 only had 2 sessions and well I cant seem to get used to the course and car lol

I have no time with projects, school, sports clubs and other things so. I'll give one last attempt lol

Same thing happened to me. I ran short on time and so I had to throw up a time I wasn't happy with because I didn't have enough time with the car.

I wonder if I will have the time to play GT5:P due to a important year of school yay... :indiff:

I just have a feeling that people will look down on me lol... :guilty:

We can hang out in division 5 bump drafting our way to a one-two finish every race. 👍

So do you look down on those who have slower times than you? Of course not.

There will be alot more of us in the "average" classes than the top class. ;)
 
5 Divisions? Crikey! I may not be a D1 driver anymore :ouch: Are we going to still have a use for the Luxy Leaderboard?

Just sent my submission today, the PM has arrived to its destination and I don't expect any reply (unless the PM had something wrong or Sphinx wants my replay to be checked).

I know you are somewhat overwhelmed as the deadline nears, Sphinx. Know that your efforts are much appreciated.
 
I think it would be beneficial to anyone not knowing what it is all about, if the info concerning the qualifier were added to the first page fo this thread. I still can't find that single post buried in 51 pages of posts.

As one of the regular updaterers I have of course thought about this. Some questions, expectations and thoughts:
- PD will probably offer online lists of race results for private rooms like they do now.
- These lists will definitely not be longer than 100 positions.
- I don't know if the Prologue WRS will be held online or offline.
- If online, no race results will be kept online and the outcome will only be known for a very short instant. I don't know how any results will be admin'd then.
- If offline, the lists will be automatically maintained so then no Luxy will be needed.
- If Luxy is still needed for Prologue WRS, some work needs to be done as (a) the current one will be required for GT4 WRS, and (b) Luxy now cannot cater for 5 divisions.
- In any case, if work needs to be done I will continue to be available for it. However, with 5 divisions and many MANY more participants the churns will be excessively more time-consuming.

I really need to get my PS3 hooked up this weekend and do my registry run. I take it the cars PP points arn't to be messed with at all.

It's not possible to adjust the PP for the car in the given mode.

That single post doesn't exist. This thread is for discussion about the GTP Registry (and there's a "GTP Registry" thread) ... and ... the GTP Qualifier (and there's a "GTP Qualifier" thread).

So, this is just a members discussion thread, if anyone wants to know everything there is to know about the Registry or the Qualifier, it's not here they'll find it. Just look for the threads about it. They're stickied and their title is quite clear.

Yeah, I noticed that (there is a Qualifier single post/locked thread) "after the fact". Thanks for all of the other info though. I do realize that "this" is the discussion thread regarding the registry. Which is why I'm asking questions pertaining to the registry, "here".

Seeing as how the Qualifier is directly related to the members within the registry, a simple link in the front page would be a good thing.

Simple answer would have sufficed.

I searched and nothing helped me.

How do yuo upload a replay from the PS3 to your PC?
 
1. Save your replay in the normal way
2. Quit game
3. Insert a USB Storage Device
4. Using the XMB, select game, select Saved Data Ultity
5. Scroll down to your Replay
6. Press triangle & select copy
7. Select the destination for the copy of your replay (USB Storage Device)
8. Copy it
9. upload to PC
