Steward's Comments:
You can hate the tires, but they are going to hate you back. ;)

These are the stock tires on the car, with the perfect balance of slip and grip. It's a very balanced ride, and it will be tricky to get everything out of it. Have fun!

Viewing Your Time Splits:

  • You need to make sure you save the 'Save Best Lap Replay' (ghost replay), not the 'Save Replay'
  • To view your best lap replay, go to 'My Home' and watch the replay from there using the 'Replay Theater' option.
  • While Viewing Your Replay, Choose the "Live Timing Monitor" To View Your Sector Times
  • To post your T1 & T2 Splits, simply post the sector times that are shown in the live timing monitor.
  • The WRS Fetchbot has been updated and will now add your splits together!

Standard Clean OLR Rules:

  • At Least 2 Tires must be in contact with track at all times.

    • In situations where contact with the track is not possible because tires are airborne (above the ground), then the run is only legal if at least two tires in-line would have made contact with the track if the car were not airborne.
    • If track contact cannot be 100% determined, then consider it dirty.

  • Rumble/ripple strips are part of the track.
  • No contact with walls or objects, visible or invisible
  • If you're not 100% sure that your lap is clean, then consider it dirty
  • No hybrids
  • No cheating of any kind, these are relaxed races and we are experienced racers, we know what times can be done, and we can read your mind.We will know.
  • Nothing that goes against the spirit of the rules
  • Save your best lap/ghost replay

Most time changes are measured by GMT. Although GMT has been replaced by atomic time (UTC) it is still widely regarded as the correct time for every international time zone.

Time verification:

Save your ghost replay and keep it at least a full two weeks after the event's deadline:

  • Racers, named by the OLR Admin staff, (if any) will be required to submit a replay for verification
  • Any submitted time is subject to a time verification request
  • When a time verification has been requested, the concerned racer must provide the correct replay within seven days of the request
  • Failure to do so will result in the removal of the unverified submission from the results table
  • Video replays are not accepted as a form of verification

Good luck, :gtplanet:

Fantastic combo! I'm already used to using this track in so many shuffle lobbies and with cars at around this PP level that I think I'll do really well this week. 👍 Here's some splits to start chasing. 3/5 BB and not broken in.

31.043
37.345

Will definitely give this one a go! My favourite track and I won the London seasonal in this car! :D

I think the leaderboards are calling this Week 138. Might need adjusting?

We'll fix it.

Got a few laps in this one already, thanks to Kevin having it ready a few weeks ago.
It's a blast. 👍

from London I have not had a test WRS, I've been working a lot and have had very little time, today I'll give a few turns this fantastic combo.

great choice of track, car and tires 👍

I'm sorry to say GTA V has sucked all my free time away... and continues to do so. :sly: Thought I'd give this a quick blast though - great combo. 👍 Brand new car and 10 laps to get a feel for it:

30.815
37.320

Anyone not in D1 thinking of running it yet...? :sly: Not sure how much time I'll get from here... Brother's wedding on Friday and we're driving down on Thursday and staying for a few days so maybe not much.

The game is wrong there 236bhp stock not 240bhp haha, and ratio is wrong they do 60 in 2nd/90 in 3rd and redline at 9000rpm,
Boo disappointed! Lol

Anyway first splits

T1- 31.016
T2- 37.639

I had a .838 first sector at one point,

I am just getting home from a weekend away. I will attempt this combo tomorrow! Need to do some catching up at Monza first!!!

Since I am still waiting for my money to hit my bank, small hold up as they have to take my attorneys fee out first, I may give this one a shot as it looks like I'll be waiting to move for at least one more week. Downside is I'm playing on my old Sony 27" CRT TV, which is quite a bit different from playing on my flat panel TV. Things just don't look the same.

Drowning my sorrows after the Steelers game. Boy, we suck. :ouch:

A couple more HP, and found shifting at the limiter is the way to go. 👍

31.504
37.561

BB 1/2, started with 2/3, but this helps the car rotate in the right places.

If you want to learn all about throttle steering, try this event. ;)

First few laps, not broken-in yet. Stock B/B and ABS...

32.037
38.635

Had a few hours of fun with this one last night, after giving up at Monza. Was still breaking the car in, so no real splits tracking yet. Kev's BB (1/2) seems good.

For the loop, I'm guessing it's best to double-apex, but how deep? (ie, how close to the right edge of the track should we be when getting the rotation?)

Now that's a great looking combo! One of my favourite cars, comfort soft tires and a nice track :)

Might have to try this one tomorrow ;)

What a great little car. Not broken in yet. First splits.
32.266
39.155
New splits some 20 more laps
32.116

It took me about 20 laps to find a way to control this slippery little thing! I think I am getting the hang of it now.

Quick session tonight with car fully run in:

30.844
37.269

Saw a couple of .7 1st sectors but not much consistency at this point.

@Lucas - the roundabout is best done as a double apex but don't run out too wide. Try and keep your inside wheels in the 'rubbered-in' bit - you can't get on the power quite as early but you don't scrub off as much speed on the way round. It is a trade-off but I gained enough to hold the advantage all the way to the double right in sector 3.

+1

I try my best to not go too wide out, but I've been used to doing that from the Lexus LFA seasonal TT here not too long ago, where I had to go all the way out and drift through it on entry.

Thanks for the tips, Chris and Andrew. 👍 Much appreciated.

Wow. .012 separating the top 3 right now! And Chris is ahead of me by .001! :scared:

Edit: Not for long now. :sly: Got these great splits and went too cautious through the last turn, to only gain a tenth at the line as a result. :grumpy:
