Got a time down that I'm happy with for the time being, will re-run it again another day though as I can still see some time in it. 👍

T1: 58.691

Assists: All off
Brake balance: 5/5

After our 5th day in a row out at the Go-Kart track gitting ready for Littles biggest race on the 21st, this combo will be a great and fun change of pace :) and then another two weeks of continuing the madness  it's like groundhog day but better.

That was called GT4. ;)

Hahahaha that is so dang funny I really laughed quite hard. I bought a steering wheel for GT4. I would use it for fun and have friends try it and watch how bad they drove and everyone found it so hilarious. Altho they could actually drive in real life it didnt appear that way when they played the game.:)

Already faster than I thought I'd be but it looks like I have some work to do. Been driving with active steering on strong but I'll turn it off and see if I can manage to cross the line nose first. And if anyone wants to move the last two corners to sector two for me that would be great. 👍

Rough first session.

59.859

Took at least 20 runs to get a clean one.

This is fun sliding around in the rain. Haven't done this one since GT5 came out almost a year ago. Definitely have to brake early and be smooth.

Early split-

Similar to myself. I did around 15 runs, and just about made 1'00 for T1. Not sure where almost 1.5 seconds is going.

Is there a bit of a trick to this one - have to take unusual lines for improved grip or something? The stage notes say something about a "middle-middle-middle" line.

No, not really. The usual lines, you might try playing around with gear changes. Play with the grip you have, try to flick the car around (but not too much).

Sorry about that will keep it on mind next time.

Just had a couple of runs and I am thinking that this one may be a bit above my skill level this week. Will see how I go if I manage another run layer in the week but at this stage nothing at all worth talking about.

Hmmm. Just need to drive better then!

Braking is very tricky, especially into turn-3 (Hatzenbach I think it's called). Lose the rear so easily there.

Hmmm, I don't have problems with oversteer there really. You just need to be smoother then.

I think it's turn 5 that I have issues with, which is the fairly slow right after the fast-braking left, the left is always ok but the right-hander it's really hard to get the power down or not skid, it loses a lot of time.

Yeah, just need to make sure you force the wheels straight, which is not easy.

When testing, I just braked much earlier than I normally would there, which does allow you to get back on the power sooner.

Updated split, seems I need to use more traction control than I'd like to admit, set at 5 for this session.

Messed up last corner.:yuck:

Better last sector, but not great.

Ok, I just got a PB, but the replay doesn't show my 1st split. Can I just let my previous split on the board?

That's odd. I'm fine with you just leaving your old split.

Thanks Kevin,

I got that more often during my run. Normally I always look at my splits, but in some laps I get no information about my split. And sometimes the game shows the split, but I get -99.999.999 as difference to my previous split.

Much to gain... how do you guys come through the corners? I just go straight ahead :( :P

/edit: Great combo Kev! I just couldn't resist! :D (And I couldn't resist to take the GSX for a drive around the ring afterwards, what a great track.)

I didn't drive to much yet, but from what I've seen it's very critical to turn in earlier than normal to hit apex's, and obviously with zero traction momentum is more important than ever.
Looks like a head banger for certain, :banghead: but good practice for those of us that have barely driven in the rain.💡 (like myself)

First try, with DS3, AS Strong, ABS 4, BB 7/5:

Nice break from the norm, Kev, wonderful. Love this car too. 👍

EDIT: Looked at my chrome-line version in my garage, and it looks like the optimum shift point is 6000 rpm, FWIW.
Also found some corners like the inside rumble to be "hooked" by the inside tires. :sly:

Nice one Kevin 👍

First three attempts gave me this
