First splits this week (still drifting through turn 1 a LOT) and although I messed up the first corner of T2 this was my fastest lap:

Took 20 laps to match my 4th lap with the DS3, and another 30 to save 0.4s. And I'm not even good with the DS3. :ouch:

Somehow managed almost a second quicker overall even with splits that arn't much better then my previous splits.

I guess that means I had a pretty good final sector lol.

I seem to always stuff up if I manage a 23.8 or 23.9 first sector lol always messing up the braking going into the corner.
 
No improved this session.
Saw a T2 .078, .117, .071 in a row and still haven't beaten my best.:yuck:

I hate how this car enters corners, but I love how it gets out of them. In my experience, it's a matter of turning the wheel A LOT, pointing the nose to the exit as soon as possible, floor it, and keep steering carrying as much speed as I can until the corner is over, even if I go a little bit wide. If there's a better way of doing it, I'd appreciat any tip 👍.

So, after some wrestling with this understeering, tire-burning, orange pig I managed to get this splits:

T1: 0'24.167
T2: 0'21.659

Phew...Not bottom of the table :).
 
This arcade version of the car seems different from the recommended list. It feels much better here and is tons of fun! Great choice 👍

Really enjoying this combo 👍 just need to nail that last corner. Keep hitting the :banghead:. Splits are down slightly, but a massive gain at the line.

I seem to be wanting to run more laps each week. This one I've prolly put in close to 100 so far, and it's just Tuesday! Maybe not that many compared to some of you guys but I really like shaving :) Improved my splits some more,

Quick question though, and I hope I am not out of line, but does anybody pull 6th gear before going into turn 1? And perhaps what's your top speed before you throw out the anchor?
 
Improved splits along with a substantial gain in lap time. Finally nailed the kink but I think a few more tenths are doable with a better T1 and final turn. I will say the kink is way easier this direction than reverse though. 👍

I hit 6th going into the first turn sometimes..if you get a good run out of the last corner.

Need to hit the line at around 218kph to make it count though.
 
Here is my first attempt, pretty pleased, but there is room for improvement. Glad to be doing this again as I had to miss the first two.

I had the fastest splits on the board up until I realized I had missed turning off SRF :dunce: what a let down! Anyhow I managed to better my splits by 0.8s. Its no full 2 seconds but it'll do!

Slowly finding time. Finally found a line I like through sectors 1 and 2. I'm struggling to be consistent through the last 3 corners. I can't count how many times I've been up in the first two sectors only to scrub off over half a second in that last complex.
