What RPM is everyone shifting this thing at? Or does it need to be wound out?

I'm winding it out, but haven't tried short shifting yet.

Cool, I tried a couple laps shifting at 50% or so on the rpm bar and then did a couple more after that winding it out and I was gaining on every straight when winding it out. It seems like that is the better option. :)

Shifting at redline, using BB -2 to improve by a little over a second this session. This one is growing on me, getting used to the snap oversteer at times.

Got another 0.7 at the line using @Hasnain282's tips of later downshifting to 3rd on a few turns (turn 1 for example), and using 3rd instead of 2nd for the hairpin righthander (before the bridge), and 4th for the fast chicane just before that.

With a decent final sector this time. It's tenths hunting time.

Improved a bit more with this lap. Getting a better feel for this car and using the snap and throttle oversteer to better effect now.

Had an okay last corner this lap, so a bit more in it.

BB -2 still...

Not sure I'm going to get another chance with this combo do will submit with this time. Good luck all!

I shaved another .6 off this morning only to realize while checking the replay that I ever so slightly grazed the wall in the braking zone at the end of the bridge. :banghead:

Remember to turn wall collision detection to strict and invalidate lap

I hadn’t had an issue with it so far, but you’re right, I’ll turn it on from here on out, then there is no questions about it. 👍

Kept at it and ended up knocking 1.1 off the total. Then I fell behind that ghost by 1.0 on the next lap, but finished the lap only .3 behind it, so it looks like there is still some more time there for me. Continuing on! :)

Ok last one for today I think, I don’t see myself getting much more out of it, Optimal only has .2 left now. This is a wicked fun combo once you get to know the track! :D

A slight improvement, but sadly probably the best I'm gonna get this week. It's tough to improve when just getting through each corner without sliding out is still a challenge for me. Oh well.

This event really grew on me, nice combo once you figure out the course.

Improved slightly at the line with a good last few corners, submitted.

That's a surprise, I was 2nd on the results when I checked but I'm guessing @suprajef posted the wrong lap time given how much time I supposedly gained on the last split. Doesn't feel right but 2nd was a lot better than I thought I'd do anyway (especially with that sector 1 split). Congrats to the podium finishers and all who hit their targets :gtpflag:
