Replay Checking:

  1. It is customary for all participants of the WRS to verify each others submitted replays
  2. Once you have checked the replay, post in this thread to say that you have checked it and whether it's clean, dirty or doesn't meet the required race specifications
  3. When verifying a replay, check against this weeks race specification, check that the tyres are the correct compound and that the power and weight is correct for example
  4. If you are unsure about a replay, always seek a second opinion before posting

I can’t believe I finished so high on the handicapped results, I thought I’d had a bad one.

The car in general liked to be wound out. I imagine you were taking my advice to shift as you turn in for Dunlop. I think he is effectively saying that you should have turned in sooner. Or, if you were still up in the revs turning in, that was not the approach. You wanted the acceleration to be in 3rd. The whole idea was to bury the lost time of the upshift in what would normally be lifting/coasting anyhow.

Was a pretty close finish for 3rd there, @Mr P . ;)

Thanks also to ALL the participants this week, nice to see this kind of turnout. I know we all had to fight the understeer a bit, but this was an addictive combo with short laps. Just tough to tie your best sectors together.

Antony, you could brake a little earlier and turn in sooner a few places.

Stan, you should practice using the whole track. Also, smoother brake release on entry would help you. Watch some other replays to see what I mean about using the track. 👍

It can be difficult to see why times are slower than others, especially over short tracks, until someone identifies why.
