I obviously should have read the parts in red on the OP because I didn't realise that concrete was track - I could've gone faster had I known.

For T3 I went flat on the corner entering the long straight, had a wide entry going up the banking, it was the only way I could manage flat over there I lost a little bit of time there too got nervous after the .3 split so didnt take the best line through the long straight.

Thanks for checking mate 👍 yeah going up the concrete seemed faster for this one I went up quite a lot, had an oversteer moment in the long T1 so had to straighten the wheel a bit earlier.

Seriously though, great times Viper, Anastasis and Toaster. You guys toasted the competition, spat in its eyes and....erm.....put the rest of us in stasis?

I hit 35.283 in T3 yesterday so knew that I would be beaten with a .441 on my submitted lap. Couldn't replicate the early part of the lap at all after Saturday, not sure why. Holding a high line just on the kerb gave such a slingshot, but it was just impossible to get it right on a quick lap!

Looks like I never really figured sector 3 out... didn't get any in the .2s at all. It does seem as though something about the characteristics of this circuit play into the hands of the faster DS3 users though... mighty battle at the top of D2 and dominated by the DS3ers 👍

Suffice to say I am well relieved to have held on to 2nd place considering it was a week off for me and how fierce the competition was. Well done all for putting up with the whistling kettle car guys.

Mitch, an extra mention mate for a stellar effort this week and your best result yet (I think?) More pancakes in the future then...

You guys don't mind if I post my replay just for practice do you? This was pretty much my 'practice' week and it was lots of fun 👍

That's fine, and it's good practice.

I actually go the paranoid route and once I post my replay, I download it right away from the post, and go through the reverse steps to get it imported back into GT5, thus giving me 2 copies of the same replay, as well as proving to myself that the reviewer won't have any issues with corrupt files or import troubles. 👍

EDIT: That said, we do have this rule about folks who didn't submit not being able to come into the thread and say "Man I would have won with my X'XXX.XXX but forgot to submit". In this case, I think you would have submitted had you been in the Registry on time, so am making the exception in this case.

Well in that case... here's my NTSC replay if anyone wants to check it. I left a good 1-2 tenths on the track but otherwise I'm quite impressed with my lap time. 👍

Great Combo! Fun and interesting. A challenge that seemed stripped down to base skill because of no gearbox. I left a ton of time strewn about the S curve...Oh well. Still learning. Congrats to all the winners and 👍 to all who wrestled this electric whirly bird...On another note, I could of swore I got faster as my battery depleted...how much does electricity weigh?
