Funny thing. Just did a couple of laps and every time i pas T3 and see a time (what time isn't import can be any time for everybody, it's the feeling you have with it). I think, 4 days ago i would be mind-blowing if i did that time. Now i'm not happy with it :lol:
 
Everytime I approach T3 and Im ahead of my ghost I look up to see what time it is, even though I tell myself not to look. If its a good time I tell myself "you better not 🤬 up that last sector" a few times I have totally messed it up sliding all over the place.
 
Any one going flat-out in the 2nd to last corner of T2?

And that last corner of T2, only a lift or a tap on the brakes?

I've done thad second to last corner in T2 flat once or twice but I binned those laps in T3. Quite a few laps with good splits were wasted because of a very poor sector 3. The last corner I don't lift, I just use the right amount of part throttle l. Thanks for sharing the setup, jimi 👍

Sector 4 was a bit conservative. There's maybe 2 tenths still in it but I don't know if I'll ever put the lap together, its it's so tricky.
 
How many interest is there in a Sector 1 video at this point? Like or reply if you like to see one.

Slightly slower thru T3 with a poor T1, but overall .230 at the line with my best T4 so far.

Tough week when you have to be D1 (or from Australia :)) to be in the 1 second club! I know it's sort of normal with nearly 2 minute splits, but still... makes me feel like I could never be D1 (not that I ever did!).

I've been trying to improve tonight, but couldn't do it, I guess I'm done. Submitted and accepted, good luck everybody.

When i started in d3 a year ago i never thought I'd be in d1, but I'm here now. What i did was pick a consistently fast person a division above me and work on beating them. Then, when i got to where i could beat them, i moved on to the next. Little steps turn into a leap from where you started. Keep at it and always push yourself to improve. You will.
 
Thanks Brandon. I feel like I improved a lot starting a few months before the end of GT5, something just clicked, I guess. But I also feel like I've hit a plateau with no end in sight, like I've reached the end of my skills and talent. Maybe one day there'll be another click, who knows...

Submitted with last time posted (might try a late run after work). I really enjoyed this TT, as it was the first time I ran this track in a serious way. There are so many places to make or break a lap. Hoping my T4 is fast enough to maybe get a D2 podium. If not, my final time is so much better than I ever imagined possible. Now to Daytona and try to ace one of the hardest turns in GT6, the Bus Stop.
