Any advice for Turn 2? I seem to be losing all my time there due to the car wanting to spin/slide after hitting the bump/dip at the apex.

Edit: Gained about 1 second at the line tonight, so I'm going to say that's good progress for right now. My tune still needs adjusting.

I switched to Brandon's tune last night and won't be using my tune anymore, just sayin'. Plus body rigidity.

If you turn up the acceleration lsd to 22, it gave me a better t1 and t3 but a worse t2 by .15..

Iunno how to tune.

Beat my untuned lap by more than 2 seconds. Try accel around 18-20.

Either I'm getting faster, or my tuning is getting better.

I just ordered one of these: Micro SD Card Reader ...So I should be back in business this week :)

Thanks @Eggstor for the suggestion

Ive seen better splits but I'm bad at the final turn...
That will work. Just make sure the card is SDHC, not SDXC. HC cards are formatted in FAT32 (which is what the PS3 uses) or FAT32X (which the PS3 tolerates), XC cards are formatted in exFAT (proprietary Microsoft file system, not supported by the PS3).

I tried 18 and it was slower in all sections. I may adjust the rear toe and see if I can get some traction at the top of t2

Using Brandon's tune with the body rigidity thing.

It took me a while to go faster than my ghost from the other day using Lucas's tune, but I managed eventually and found .16 at the line.

Still finding the odd 100th.. here and there.. but still struggling with T2..

Have sussed out the first turn in T2. Am now pulling a good quarter of a second on the run down to turn 3. Just need to slow down enough for turn 3 now. Losing 0.1 in sector 1, and can see another 0.3 in sector 2. Sector 3 is a bit of a chore at the moment.

Question - is the area between the white line marking the pit entry lane and the inside curbing of Rindt (turn 8) in or out of bounds?

Guess I have to set a new lap then - I had treated it as out.
Maybe I'm misunderstanding where you mean? Shouldn't you be all the way to the left and miss the pit-in line completely when setting up for the final turn?

The on-screen racing line has the apex of Rindt well inside the pit-in lane. It comes back to the outside of the pit-in lane only after the inside curbing ends.

The area I'm talking about is at 1:02-1:04 of this GTP video of the Lotus 97T at Red Bull Ring.

Getting frustrating, can't string it all together. A .4xx is possible but not unless I stop being an idiot

My new setup :
hello!
Brandon's suspension +

3.320
2.600
2.020
1.637
1.360
1.145 (3.250)

BB 5/6 ABS1

8/13/8 LSD

400/550 aero

Easy to drive but now 4th is more useful especially at the end. Switch LSD and aero up (15-20-10 and 650 rear aero) if you want more stability

Bounced the engine off the rev-limiter a couple times, but good enough for the first set of splits:

I threw away a sub-20 T1.

What's the deal with PD modelling the dark green patches of lava rocks outside the curbing in T1, T2 and the final turn? I've never seen a car get so out of shape on what appears to be relatively smooth tarmac.
