Going to give this another spin now.
What TCS is is everyone running?
0 TCS, though I could understand turning it up with this car.

LOL, almost missed the "give it a spin" pun :)
I don't think TCS will make you faster other than giving you confidence. Putting the power down is only problem in turn 2 and 4 for me. Oversteering the car under deceleration is much bigger problem and TCS won't help you here (partial throttle does).
TCS will make you slower in all higher speed turns. The last turn for example. There is a bit of wheelspin coming out but you are going fast enough that the downforce won't allow you to spin out.

Normally I'm the first to give TCS a go when I struggle with a car but I agree with @mr_lab_rat, it's not really necessary this week. As for oversteering on deceleration, that is avoidable too if you don't downshift in the mid to high rev range 👍

I can´t remember whenever using TCS made me drive faster in a time trial. It allways was a question of learning and therefore patience. There´s nothing TCS can do that I can´t learn. ;)

My best WRS results have been in FWD cars with TCS. I managed to beat a lot of better drivers that were too stubborn to use the aid.

So it was lucky for you and respect for your performance! 👍

Wow, way to many people running low to mid 1'13s :)

Grotesquely ugly Surtees, like Elephant Man with pink eye ugly. It's so ugly that I'll be embarrassed to submit this lap. But other than that a pretty nice lap for me. I had hoped to knock a half second off my Tuesday time and happily I've done so. I've been deliberately very cautious around the last high speed right in order to avoid hitting the restart button too often, so still a little time hanging out there.

Pretty good improvement, I say.

This combo is killing me. I managed to match my PB once (0.000 difference). Then I shaved off some time for new PB and now I came within 0.001 of that one.
The good news is that I'm seeing some mid 1'13s now.

This combo is killing me.
My short session yesterday got me nearly 2 seconds - in the red.
I think I'll try again tomorrow.

edit: one excuse is that my S2 is (15.017, dual) 17th on the leaderboard.

So after having four nearly identical laps at the top of my times table (separated by less than 0.01) I managed to smash it by three tenths :)

Dont feel confident under braking in second last corner
Any tips?

Seems I'm quicker with an auto box on this combo...

If automatic helps you to keep the car under control when decelerating it's probably much bigger advantage compared to the small benefit of revving past the redline.

Last short session of 10 Laps before I leave for the GP weekend @ Spa-Francorchamps.

Still used 4/1 BB but this time no TC and could now correct the car with the throttle. Not all of it but this felt good.

For the first time there where no red laps.

Might be my last go, pretty happy with the end of the lap, .250 or so somewhere in there but I doubt I'll get it AND finish it off.

2/0 BB

** EDIT: Submitted this lap, using the v1.0x software prize car with all the settings reset and it was accepted - phew!

Never could get the hang of the Elise.

I anticipate a lot of spinning cars in the online races :)

Weird >2h session, a lot of red laps. Held onto continuous laps for most of it. Gain quite modest, like half a laps worth. Saw a sub twenty T1, no idea why.
