How in the world does a vehicle with no front brakes lock up the front wheels under braking?
 
Guess I'll have to turn ABS on. It's quite distracting, but the only way to change it is to use a different vehicle. :ouch:

Edit: Guess that isn't a thing. I'll adjust to it.... :indiff:

You forgot mere mortals like me and those trying to use the DS3 here.

I can't believe that I'm still the fastest D3 type. I guess everybody else is still at Indy.

It actually does have front brakes as it's a shifter kart, obviously they've modeled it to have them, not sure if they're physically shown or not.

Anyway, first splits for me:

9.002
19.635

Left at least a tenth in the first sector, pretty good middle sector and messed up the last corner a little. Took me about 50 laps to get back into the swing of things having not played for a few months, but I'm loving this combo! 👍

Yeah, the front brakes are shown, look at the settings on a shifter you own. :)

Certainly a tricky one on DS3! When I first got GT5 then I drove karts with a DS3, albeit a normal kart not a shifter kart, it's possible to go pretty fast, although tricky to put a lap together without crashing!

As @ItsAllAboutWins has said before...DS3 isn't easy but a good driver can work with the tools they're given...I'm not going to blame the DS3 this week, I think the user of the DS3 in my case needs greater fine motor control :sly:👍 I did enjoy my few laps though so I hope to improve.

Sorry, was not my intent. Maybe try putting some TC on the car. I know in the early going I was faster with accidental TC 5 than I was with TC 0. :O

Starting to figure this one out. I think I'm going to become addicted to it. Just like the GT300 @ Fuji TT.
 
Just turned upwards of 100 laps, I will post splits once I've been officially placed in my division. I'll just say this, DS3 users have their work cut out for them. But hey, who doesn't love a challenge! :mischievous:

I think that i can only download it if i sacrifice the first curves of each section to be able to exit accelerating to the maximum in the curves that precede it...but i can't see for now.

@EDK Since Andrew got his kart TT, how about a NASCAR event sometime in the near future. :p Maybe somewhere like Suzuka, Spa, or Motegi East. 💡
