Good idea. 500RS is expensive enogh. Its a great wheel, as long AS it's new. The G27 seems more fragile, but it can take a beating for a long time.
 
What broke on the other two you had? If it's just the pedals then I don't care as I'll be doing some custom setup anyway.

The first one startet to loose forcefeedback turning left and a little later no forcefeedback at all. And then it startet to make noise inside and at the end it stoped working. The 2 one lost the brake pedal as it vent out thro the bottom of the Console. And i was beginning to show problems with forcefeedback again. Nothing wrong with the one i'm having now, but it's only a few month old. There is a two year warranty on them so i get a new for free if it breaks down.
