I wasn't going to do this, since I had only done 2 laps on this track. But I gave it a go anyways. First conservative lap was clean, then took me another 100km before I could finish another. These are those splits.

39.000
1:25.367
2:29.667
3:35.150
4:36.100

From T6 to the finish line I gained approximately 7 hundredths, at least I'm consistent  Still a second to find from T6 to the line and half a second up to T6.

Hopped back into this and realised I need to put more time in when I saw my mileometer on 36.2 or 59km

Just can't stop messing up and restarting

You had to do that right? Just when I thought I was out to get you...:D

Heh, let's see if I can keep in front of you in the online race :) My second half is pretty decent I think. I would still like to find another second before T6 and another half after that.

Closer to 500 than 1000 km on this and already liking it less and less.

Understeer!

The car reacts well to unsettling the front to back weight balance between turn in and the apex. I use either brake releasing or lifting off. PD ruined the weight transfer feel last time they messed with force feedback but you can actually see the car swaying. Once the car does that you can get back on full throttle (well before the apex), the car hooks up and carves the turn nicely. Turn 2 is a good example, three turns before the finish also with slight lift (although I'm sure the aliens can take it at full speed).
Thanks Lucas (@Gravitron) for pointing it out. I was kinda doing it already but didn't realize how important it was until you told me.

With a good enough exit from the previous corner a slight lift is required (not so much for speed, but for stability), as I found out to my horror while on a lap 8 tenths up... :ouch:

That's all I'm telling about T6-T12 corners though :P

I hear you about the car's handling, sometimes I'm gaining time simply from taking a wider approach and throwing the car into the corners!

I noticed in the online race that Joel (Jammy) entered most turns wide and went for late apex (and he won the race). I'll try to do that in the TT and see if I can find some more time. My current lap is about .5 faster than my posted splits.

Going from 6 tenths up to 1 tenth behind to gaining 5 tenths at the line  started using 2/5 brakes for the first couple of sectors, seems to help a lot.

Been up almost a second at T9 so probably around 1.1-1.2 seconds to find, if I can stop understeering into walls :nervous:

2'20.983

I've developed a bit of an addiction to this one. It's so tough to hold a lap together...
...
choked away a 5'27.8x. :banghead:

No chance tomorrow but maybe one more go on Monday.

I'm done this now with these splits

37.917
1'20.833
2'20.217
3'21.767
4'20.000
5'27.483

Submited.
This was perfect timing TT for me because I'll have endurance race just after new year with this track. Nice to learn it and find good driving line. Now back to my race car to learn new brake points and taken this practice with me.
Thank you Lucas @Gravitron and whole WRS team for this TT

Just over a second at the line, however I couldn't completely avoid the dirt, this being a rally car and all :D one last go tomorrow though...

Finally a track you can get your teeth into...and it calls for feel not just surgical clipping...ya gotta get into the rhythm. Will give it a try later. GREAT COMBO.

another attempt

Just can't find the right line in some corners theres plenty of time left. Although I don't think I 'll manage anything near the unbelievable time of the likes of mcsqueegy & co.

I need to work on the first sector. I have seen one 37.7 but most my laps are over 38s. With Joel and Ettick far in the distance this is becoming a fight for 3rd place in D2 :D
I'm at 5'29.3xx T6 with decent second half but I'm hoping to find another second.

1st sector is tricky. I've seen a lot of 37.4's but never anything more even though I know I can get a 37.3. Turn 2 is where I tend to lose it. Brake earlier than you think you need to for it and trail brake. My optimal exit speed is 97 mph. Make sure not to brake too early for turn 3, I hit the inside wall there a lot. Turn 5 is confusing and I don't really take a specific line. My optimal exit speed for that corner is like 80-81 mph.

I've had a 5:27.1 and I think I can get into the 5:26 range but it'll take a lot more time than I think I have to get a good first 6 sectors along with the rest of the lap.

Submitted with these splits, out of town tomorrow so no last second run for me. I really liked this TT. Was dead even (.001 ahead) with my ghost on last sector, and picked up almost 3 tenths with by far my best last sector.

1.2s at the line. Second half is only so-so, still needs a lot of work.
