That is what I keep telling myself every week lol

Just looked up definition of insanity..."doing the same thing repeatedly and expecting a different result each time"

I must be crazy as a loon because that's me and I'm lovin every minute of it!!! :dopey:

:cheers::gtpflag:

Well, in gt6 I did that just to get d1g and I don't regret it

Put me on the crazy train with this one too

SEVEN frickin saves faster than my previous posted, all with some tiny off after close review... After hearing tales of the @Mr P livery, strapped it on and two laps later finally got a clean one that I'm mostly happy with at 25.129 . Lost at least .05 in the last sector but that's it for me on this one before something gets thrown through a window

I've had some .5's in the first sector only to bin it later in the lap. :banghead:

25.731

Very chuffed that my times using the wheel are now faster than the controller.

When I had a go last night I had this feeling the left sweeper in t2 was costing me a fair bit of time. I feel like I am struggling through there, something is telling me I might be throwing away a tenth or two.

Yaeh, t2 is the crucial sector that will sort everyone out. The current top 6 are only separated by a tiny .068 margin and there's more leeway to gain/lose time in the second sector. I did go a touch wider than I would have liked in that left hand sweeper and the fact I nearly matched my best overall time despite a .4 t1 is clearly telling me I have at least a tenth and a half to find overall.

Probably the hardest corner to get right, I think I lost a tenth or two there as I braked to early and had to use the inside sausage curb. Difficult to tell yourself to brake early there as well.

Does anyone have a video of turn 1? I seem to be stuck at .4 in the first section.

As you may have noticed, red is my favourite colour in general, but in particular when it comes to cars. And a Corvette (C4 at the time) was my teenage dream car. So I couldn't miss this event!

BB +1

Probably the only submission for me, Don't think I'll have time for another session. I was fortunate enough to get close to 200 miles in on this one, albeit short burst here and there thru the week.
Great splits from you guys, I miss being able to spend more time with this game.

It's been fun watching you guys compete in T1, But, I believe the final results will be much more spread out. You can lose time on the down hill if you don't get the weight transfer right, hit the yellow sausage entering the sweeper, there's more time lost. Drop under 40mph for the next to last turn, more time lost, miss the apex of the final turn.opps. Don't get back in the gas soon enough and let the car push out to the wall on exit of final turn, more time lost....
And don't even get me started on the best time to shift from 2nd to 3rd let alone 3rd to 4th. I never did find the sweet spot for 3rd to 4th.

This was a great combo. The races would have been awesome.

Double posting to say, I am going to pull my split off the board. Flying to Florida this morning, doing the theme parks with my wife for a few days. Then Sebring with a bunch of GTPers for a few more. :)

Haven't had much time for this so far but what a lovely old car! I did have a short stint earlier in the week and couldn't work out why I was so far off the pace at T1, once I changed to the right way around it made more sense

Turn one :banghead:  🤬

I could work on this for another week and still not get anywhere near some of those times up front.

Be interesting to see if the final sector changes the running order.

 :gtpflag:
