Replay Checking:

  1. It is customary for all participants of the WRS to verify each others submitted replays
  2. Once you have checked the replay, post in this thread to say that you have checked it and whether it's clean, dirty or doesn't meet the required race specifications
  3. When verifying a replay, check against this weeks race specification, check that the tyres are the correct compound and that the power and weight is correct for example
  4. If you are unsure about a replay, always seek a second opinion before posting

Thanks fellas!

Congrats to the Winner!! Very well done, that was a tricky combo, especially after the update. This was a fun week, I can’t wait to try the new combo tomorrow hopefully. My replay is now shared. :)

Well done! If I'm allowed, I'd like to point out one thing. There are times when you're on the brakes and the gas at the same time and I think it cost you slightly overall. Especially on the tight left hander just before the end of the first sector. Wouldn't allow the car to turn in. Then I saw it probably helped you on the long right hander by keeping your revs up. Was it intentional?

The short answer is yes. This car seemed to benefit a little from trail braking. I have a tendency to over drive a corner if I’ve been practicing for a while. So I end end up trail braking a lot more then I probably should. It just happened to work out in my favor this time. This is best I’ve ever placed.

@Pigpin13 sorry man but you had wrong tires on. RM instead of SM.
No idea how I missed that. Sorry @Pigpin13 :indiff: and my bad @routergod24 I'll pay closer attention moving forward.

Thanks for the all clear as well

That's surely OK if it's prior to the start of the timed lap isn't it?
It could be looked at as gaining an unfair advantage on approach to turn 1, since he may have been moving faster than anyone else could if they had stayed completely in bound. Personally I'd like to see the lap allowed, considering it's not a very long straight and it's followed by a very slow turn. Any gain would be extremely minimal. Just my opinion ;).

Clearly my fault. I should have double checked.

View attachment 825584 @geeTeye this is prior to you starting your lap and you look to be with 3 tires out.
These will both be DQ's / red flags, but I'll wait to mark them on the LB until an admin can verify. Thank you for the pics and the diligence in replay checks. 👍

With @geeTeye's off-track before the start of the lap, it's a DQ even if it didn't gain an advantage. Think about how that kind of thing could be exploited on the current week at Streets of Willow, going outside the cone arc at the final corner to get a higher start/finish line speed. I'm not saying he did it on purpose, most likely it was a mistake at the end of the previous lap, but it's another thing that we all need to check for before submitting.

I had the RM rear tire thing happen to me too, luckily I caught it and canceled my lap. It’s an easy mistake to make. :)

This is something i did not know but makes complete sense. Please accept my apologies. Lesson learnt.
