Replay Checking:

  1. It is customary for all participants of the WRS to verify each others submitted replays
  2. Once you have checked the replay, post in this thread to say that you have checked it and whether it's clean, dirty or doesn't meet the required race specifications
  3. When verifying a replay, check against this weeks race specification, check that the tyres are the correct compound and that the power and weight is correct for example
  4. If you are unsure about a replay, always seek a second opinion before posting

Well done to Ron, and to turnupdaheat and Will for rounding out the podium. This was a fun one, and tough to squeeze out every ounce.

Also of course congrats to the division winners and everyone who met their personal goals.

I put over 500 miles on my Clio this week, and I rarely drive that much on a TT anymore. A lot of the time I was not pushing to improve, just having a lot of fun lapping the car and learning the nuances of a new track.

Sadly, I'm not sure there is even any point in sharing mine when the offense is this obvious:

20190715181106.jpg

I crashed and went off so many times, track limits were no where near on my mind so I never even bothered to make sure I had a clean lap before submitting after all the frustrating luck with this combo (And pretty much, all the configurations of Sardegna Road). Apologies to all, this is by far the biggest screw up I've had in the last few days (and that's saying something considering how "Well" my FIA races have gone). That will to try things has just shrunk even more.

Does that not count being on the line? Unless you was over it before that screen shot?

I feel like it was over the whole time. I can still share if anyone wants, but I'm sure it was over entirely.

The angle of the car looks like it is returning to track and the rear wheels looks close but it could just ride the line. Do you lose anything by sharing? Or have a frame by frame check when you approach it. If you decide to share it I can look tomorrow night if no one else has.

Shared. I just was under the impression I had a illegal lap so I figured I might as well show the violation right there instead of delaying the inevitable.

I just watched your replay and it looks totally fine to me, pretty sure that part of track is okay to drive on 👍
Nice lap btw

Right.

These were the boundary rules I posted. I think you are showing something near start finish in that pic? The main section I was referencing was following turn 3, second left hand corner on the exit. There was some overrun out there that was gray, not the same color as tarmac.

That's the only place the white line rule would apply, plus he is on the line anyhow.

  • Red and White Rumble Strips, Blue Painted Rumble Strips/Concrete, and Tarmac are Track Surface. No other surfaces are track.
  • The sections of gray hard surface behind white lines are NOT track. The white line designates the track boundary in those sections. I'm not sure there's an advantage in using them, but let's not find out.

The picture I took is right in that section.

Ok, it's pretty blurry so I could not tell.

You mean that it's around turn 3 exit?

Or that it's near start finish?

In any case, does not look like you crossed the line. Any part of contact patch of 2 tires touching it is fine.

Turn 3 exit, sorry for the confusion.

Ok, we can double check. But the line is track, so over the line means no part of the tire touching it.

Ok then. I was under the impression with no curb being there, that was going over the track limits (that and I've been extremely down on myself lately).

- Your replay fade as you cross the line, your time only just shows. Make sure you run to the end of the first sector, second sector on the longer tracks, to ensure the best replay catches it. Close to being Black flagged. Other than that good lap. 👍

Admin was supposed to have made change a month or so ago. Sorry!

Ah right, not sure how I do this then for you, might have to let the admin sort it. The lap is clean, however your handbrake light keeps flashing, even on the straight at the end but you are not losing time so not sure if it is something to do with your setup. Can’t remember if that is a fail.
