Thx mate, you did well too! i just wished my fastest lap was acceptable, just for my handicap at least, Wes would still have won though. It was still a great combo! :)

May be i can give one tip? :), when you have corners like in the tunnel, always try to keep the inside as much as possible, at least give it a try when you are not sure if its useful :) sometimes you can shave precious time, and it was the case here, right when you enter the shadow in the tunnel start to get closer to the inside wall.

Similar to the long curve in the beginning of the Monza track, on the Monza event with the McLaren MP4 it could shave a litle over a tenth vs following the skidmark.

And you could have brake slightly later for the 2 hairpins and throw the rear of the car a little more in the curve and downshift in 1st sooner to help the car turning-in.

Thanks Mike for the advice, really appreciate it. I will definately go back and practice your tips. And yea, that tunnel, lol. I was really having a hard time figuring out just when to start my turn in and was having a hard time not scrubbing off speed in the process. I've always been a bit of a cautious driver and not really using the whole track to my advantage. I think that thats one of my biggest downfalls. Anyways, thanks for checking and will go and give your tips a try. Thanks Mike.

I bought a Hauppauge PVR on friday and this is my first time capturing a replay with it. A big step up from what I used to capture with.:dopey:

I was keeping inside slightly too much in T1, for the casino corner where you let the car flow on the outside, i see where i was losing that 2 tenth now. :)

And great T3 as well!

Haha yeah I started out ok but my next hour session I just got slower and slower and crashed more too... didn't have the time it would've taken me to get up to speed so dropped out. Then on Monday evening, the load cell on my brake pedal went haywire. Ordered a new one and rigged up my old tired G25 but I'm pretty hopeless with that now. :crazy:

Great vid Wes, it's like the car had eyes.

So far my close call gamble hasn't gone down in flames. I here it's said that "if the jurry takes longer to decide it's in the defendants favor" and I know that a tie goes to the runner, oh sorry thats baseball, :lol: so it's finger crossing time and more :nervous:

Didn't get enough running to really challenge the top two guys in the division, who posted some great times!

I remember running here aaaages ago in the Citroen C4 and GTP_JoshMuggo annihilated the field - Wes has done the same thing here! Amazing lap mate.

So - my lap - pretty average sector 1, not the best first turn, nor a great exit of the Massanet/Casino. Sector 2 is decent, the chicane is fairly close, but fine - there's a close call just before the end of sector 2, but I appear to skirt within a few inches of the barrier but no more. I checked it several times at that point and the chicane, so I hope that it's judged clean. Sector 3 was clearly nothing more than average - needed more practice!

Unless someone has far better technique than I, because I tried my best to find the smallest of wall scrapes but just couldn't, I would say your wait is over Lefty.

Thanks Con for your efforts to examine my run, I just couldn't take my second best, much cleaner effort, and had to roll the bonez. I know I looked at every concivable camera angle I could as well and thought it would pass muster. :)

They say that close is only good for horse shoes and hand granaids, now I think they can include Monico :lol:

Great job to all the rest who gave it their all 👍
