Give me some time to figure if I have the time and what car I would like to use. Since this would be my first comp, I'll be under Amateur.

Ok... I am going to give it a shot.

Car: Nismo R34 Skyline

I gotta warm up now. When is the deadline though? This weekend?

sorry about that... i just quickly scanned for a due date and read through that to quick...

that's gives me a lot more time to work on my lines. And no... not cocain lines :)

Funny, I run 400hp on Sims. :D

I'd like to register for this. My friends dad has a REALLY fancy new lap top that we can plug the PS2 directly into to capture the replay, then I can upload it to my server or a GTPDC related one. Need to go decide wich car to use, but most likely an FD at this point. BTW, no restrictions on hybrids is there. I have a Cobra 427 powered Cobra R that I occasionaly like to bring out for a little sims rosting fun. ;) With nearly 500hp, it doesn't matter what gear or what rpms, you can get the rear loose.

Oh, one other question, I noticed in the past a list of corners for pro-amatuer classes, but I don't see anything about that now. I'll probably register in Exhibition as amatuer, as I'm not to confident about being competitive in Pro. :)

I'll post again when I pic a car.

Venom

hey will this have to drift continiously around the whole lap or just normal drifting? if just normal I may use my 270HP S13 with mediums all around just to prove to all these sims drifters that you don't need power to drift with racing slicks. also, will I need to put the gas, wheel and speedometer thing in the replay?

i believe that by the rules...
amature is defined as 1-3 consecutive drifts
professional is defined as 4-inifinite consecutive drifts...

i may be wrong but drifting the entire course is considered worthy of more points...

i may be wrong so wait until thio is back or look it up on the old threads...

All you have to put is the lap times and the speedometer, that's all. This is to make sure that you haven't edited the video in any way :)
