Dels interested in the McLaren F1 and the BMW M3 .. in the meantime im away for the next 9 days

ok then. when you return, you can tell me.

I am interested in the M3 GTR, however, it would make it a lot more equal if you made all the cars top speed the same. ;)

No, actually, it wouldn't. what SHOULD be done is to make the gearing free for the drivers, and balance the cars and horsepowers.

point taken. in the Specs I have them in now, I tested them on Laguna Seca and The GT1 cars all made lap times around the 1'15.000 range, while the GT2 cars made lap times around the 1'20.000 range. so thats about as equal as I can get them. I'll add the free Gearing to the rules. oh btw, did anyone notice the nice signs I put up in the first post?.

I have edited the first post to include a Deadline as well as the choice of numbers and Sponsors available. their is also a detailed example of the format in which you will submit your times as well as your entry into the series. please read it carefully.

I must choose my team from already made teams? And choose the Sponsors, but what gives sponsor?

I like this series very much, and I'm going to join it!👍
We gonna test cars a bit with my bro (and mate) Michael, but definitely we will run GT1 class. But where are other racers? This is pretty good chamionship, so I hope others will join this too.
I've got just 2 questions:
1. May I use #0 for my car?
2. For what we're using sponsors? How do we choose 'em?
It is just a part of the game or they really give us something?
(I run just a few WRS races on GTP, so I don't hear anythin' about it)

thats fine with me

you just choose your sponsor. when results are posted, they will look something like the results in GTPLMS. hope that answers your question:)

Thank you, Camyron.
In a few days I will post my car choice. Hope there will be enough racers. Good Luck in DTM. I think that will start soon)

After testing in GT2 I decided to take Camaro from PSI Experience Team, so:

Name: C-H-A-R-G-E-R
Car: Chevrolet Camaro LM
Number: 0 (Zero)
Sponsor: PlayStation

Hope to see NIGHT MICHAEL as teammate...

PS: I'm still testin' cars in GT1 class.

Here I come.
Driver: NIGHT MICHAEL
Team: PSI Experience Team
Car: Chevrolet Camaro LM
Number: 7
Sponsor: Red Bull.
Teammate: C-H-A-R-G-E-R

Nice to see you here, bro!

Also I have some questions to RACECAR & some info for him:

1. About Nissan 350Z in GT2 class:
Its power even with (-20) setting reaches 486HP, not 469HP as you have posted. So I think you should add a bit weight to it, or just do nothing if you mean 486HP.

2. About season:
R5: Denso Grand Prix of Japan- Twin Ring Motegi Road Course
R6: Honda Grand Prix of Japan- Twin Ring Motegi Road Course
Does it mean that we will drive 2 same races in the middle of a season one after another, or it's just a mistake and you have just post it twice? Anyway I like this track very much.👍

3 You said that we should choose our cars from already made teams, but what about teamnames? This names are exactly those names from your first post or we can choose our own names like:
The Internet with Golden Racing Technology
Delfino with DOWNUNDER RT

well, I put the settings according to the identical performance. I'll do a bit more testing and see how weight to put on it.

well, I thought it would be good if there was a double feature race. they'll run separately like the other races. I'll change it if you like.

you can make up your own team name, so you can have your same team name from the DTM if you want.

Here's my entry for the series. :)

Well, with a few miscalculations corrected this is looking pretty nice 👍 👍 👍

well, I thought it would be good if there was a double feature race. they'll run separately like the other races. I'll change it if you like.

So if you had chosen this twice that's alright with me:tup:
Maybe the only thing that can be done is departing them a bit... I mean to run one race somewhere in the begining of a season(Race 3 for example), and run it again somewhere about end (Race 8)

you can make up your own team name, so you can have your same team name from the DTM if you want.

Thanks, we will take name Red Square Racing again)

I like this series very much! Glad to see some new racers here...

The last question is about AI level. Can we choose any level for the race to avoid contacts with their cars? And what about contacts? No contacts, slight contacts?
As for me I think that we should do it like this:
1.No contacts with static objects (walls, cones, etc)
2.Slight contacts with AI are allowed (especially actual for racetracks like Opera Paris)
3.Two wheels on racetrack in any instant, stripes are parts of a track.
I think RACECAR will post something about it)

And finally just one more thing that makes me feel doubts is Point System.
I think that different positions should be rewarding with different points. I can't remember any race series where for 8th and 9th places both racers get 1pt. So I can offer something like this:

Variant 1
1-15
2-12
3-10
4-8
5-6
6-5
7-4
8-3
10-1

or standard F1/WRC/GT etc. system

Variant 2
1-10
2-8
3-6
4-5
5-4
6-3
7-2
8-1

But of course that's your choice what to do: use your system, or change it.
And of course all my remarks about this race series are posted to make its rules as clear and correct as possible in my opinion. Thanks for your work, RACECAR:tup:
