I was just made aware of GTPlanet's feature in the June 2004 issue of Performance Auto & Sound magazine! I've posted a copy of the page on which it is featured here in PDF format for your downloading pleasure. If you or anyone you know has access to a hard copy of this issue of the magazine, please let me know - I would certainly be very interested in buying it from you. :)
 
Thats great stuff! They should take a peek around here now to see how far it has come along. Personally i have only been here coming up to a year and i have seen quite a few changes so the differences to them would be as shocking as being slapped with a wet fish. Maybe you should send them a mail?

As for a copy of the issue, one would assume they have a "back issue" section in the magazine. i couldnt see one on the website but the majority of magazines i read offer this kind of service.

I think it means a lot that they've featured the site on their own accord - you didn't have to contact them in any way. GTPlanet.net is promoting itself.

Very very cool Jordan, I hope you can get more promotion in a similar guise featuring the latest build of the site! They'd love it even more!

I'd start running adverts in automotive and game magazines (maybe even mens mags?), if I were you... emphasising that GTPlanet is the absolute best online community in the world, especially if you like cars, but even if you don't. It's really an amazingly rounded site in terms of the different threads and interests people have. It goes FAR beyond the (possibly too specific these days?) title of GTPlanet in terms of scope.

I'd love to see the 'planet become more well known...
 
Advertising the site would be great, but I don't exactly have a budget for those kinds of luxuries! We have to rely on free publicity.
 
Niceeeeee......good publicity for GTP, I love this place! This is one crazy web site you created, Jordan, I cant imagine living without GTP :dopey:
