Competition Description


Battle Fixtures..​


NEMESIS Vs Team SR (Sunday 7PM)

Southern Sliders Vs Project D (TBD)

Suislide Vs Redsuns (Sunday 8/9PM)​


The Competition will be set out like a league and will be held over X rounds. These rounds will be held over a weekend of team battles with guest judges from the teams who have joined the league.
Each Team will nominate 1 spokesperson for any team member changes and track voting.
Once you have chosen you’re car you must remain in this vehicle until the end of the round at the selected track. Anyone found to be using a different car may be disqualified which could lead to team disqualification.
Each team must have 6 battle members. Run 1 will consist of Driver 1&2. Run 2 will consist of Driver 3&4. Drivers 5&6 will be spare in case of any connection issues or other none game related problems.

2.Enter you’re 6 team members & choice of cars
3.Enter you’re teams spokesperson
4.Enter you’re selected Team Judge & Backup

Rules & Regulations

• All cars will be unrestricted in terms of power
• NO Weight restriction will be put in place
• ALL entrants must run FR cars
• Tyre restrictions will be set to Comfort Hard only
• Same car must be used throughout the round

Track Selection

A selection of tracks will be laid out with a team run video to show the tracks good and bad points. Once you’re team has decided which track they would like for the following round there spokesperson must come forward with team decision. If A team vote is not cast and the spokesperson does not give there track vote it will be added to the least popular track at the end of day 3.
Track voting will be held over a 3 day period which will be Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Like I said above, if you’re vote is not cast within the 3 day time period then you will lose your vote.

Weekend Activity

Due to time-zone issues all teams will try to be met with best times possible. We do not expect ANYONE to be up at 2AM for there team battle.
The room holding the battle will consist of:
•All 4 battling members from both teams
•4 Chosen Judges
There will be a 25 minute free run period to loosen up and get to know you’re opponent. After the 25 minutes the Competition will begin with Drivers 1&2 battling in Run 1 followed by Run 2 which will reverse the roles which will allow the chasing team to lead.
Run 1.
•Team-A will have Driver 1 lead while Team-B will have Driver 1 follow.
•Team-A will have Driver 2 follow with Team-B Driver 2 also following him/her.
Run 2.
•Team-B will have Driver 2 lead while Team-A will have Driver 2 follow.
•Team-B will have Driver 1 follow with Team-A Driver 1 also following him/her.
Run 3.
•Team-A will have Driver 3 lead while Team-B will have Driver 3 follow.
•Team-A will have Driver 4 follow with Team-B Driver 4 also following him/her.
Run 4.
•Team-B will have Driver 4 lead while Team-A will have Driver 4 follow.
•Team-B will have Driver 3 follow with Team-A Driver 3 also following him/her.

All Drivers will be scored out of 10. The highest scoring driver from run 1&2 from you’re team will go through as well as the highest scoring driver from run 3&4. We will then continue on to the final 2 runs. They will be set out the exact same way but the final 2 runs will determine the overall winner of the battle.​

There will be no qualification for teams! You will be added to a league table where every team battles each other at least once to make it fair.. Points will be given for a win and 0 points awarded or deducted for a loss. Basically a league table.

During the run the chase car must set a reasonable pace but not too fast! If he spins or crashes out the chase takes over and the lead car is eliminated!
there will be 4 judges watching. 1 judge per driver! They will be rated out of 10 for speed, angle, style and how close they can keep there car with the driver in front.
If a driver has been crashed into and caused to spin out or loose pace they will automatically rejoin the back of the pack without points being deducted!

ACN has a killer team, good luck to them. Unfortunately i doubt i will represent the Southern SLiderz, as i'm simply not good enough (yet) but good luck to everyone involved and well done jimmy, this is a very good idea ;)
 
id love to bop in here for this, sounds like fun, but what kind of commitment are we talking about? i got alot of **** to do on weekends concerning school design projects and what-not

Southern sliderz wants to put a team in and we are just wondering when the closing date is. We are currently putting together a 6 man team we just need to figure out who's gonna rep as we have alot of members so can I please have a date that you need us to register by.:)

haha ok sai :). Drifta it wont be for another 2 weeks atleast give people more than enough time to get a team together etc as most have never done this kind of thing :)

shyt where are the L2Ls!! Only thng thats bothering me is the times this will be held cause I might be busy.. I wish I could find smaller tournies when getting online! But anyway me and slide should be in...? Lets see if we can get more team members to come through!
