Not sure if anyone else noticed this, but I thought it was quite an impressive statistic for the site to achieve đź‘Ť

It works out as 32 posts per user on average, though this varies from 0 to Famine's 40000+ :crazy: which means he accounts for 170th post on the site.

Anyway, thought this was a notable milestone, and thanks for the site Jordan :cheers: Much excellent time I have spent here in the past year

That's quick then. Would be interesting to see a plot of posts vs time, to see the relative posting rate over time. Must have increased massively since GT5 was released I would hazard a guess at.
 
Did some digging, post 6 million was December 12 2011. So around 6 months ago.

That is a sensational amount of posting, it's near 5000 posts a day. Seems like that's a rapid increase if we're only at 7 million posts.
 
Hmmm, I think that number only counts non-deleted posts. According to the post count, in the address bar, yours would be the 7,340,348th post. Which shows how many posts are deleted too.
 
Now if we could spam like crazy and make it 10,000,000.

I wonder how much space is taken up by all posts?

Since a letter/number/symbol is equal to 1 byte.

Amazing feat may I say. This year GTP also achieved a decade since it's inception too. 2012 may not be so bad after all.
 
7 million?! Wow I just joined in may of 2012 I think. That's a lot. Congrats gtplanet users. Hopefully this site will continue to grow until every gt5 user joins gtplanet

WOW , iv been using the site since 2008 *never bothered to make a account* Nice =) ! To be honest this is one of the cleanest easiest to navigate site ever, its more professionally made than FB which has errors all the time..

By milestone, do you mean the actual 7 millionth post ever, or the 7 millionth undeleted post? If it's the former, then in the URL where it shows the post ID, I think just replace it with the milestone number, and if that post is still available, it'll show up.

I think he means he'd like to actually see the post that made the milestone. So yeah, 7th million ever.
