usernamedThere's a Insider RSS feed, but the link is messed up right now...
Probably because of the server move.
JordanNo, sorry, there are no RSS feeds of forum content. We use vBulletin, not Invision. I've never used RSS and don't have much interest in it, so I've never bothered modifying vB for it.
You click on the orange box (it has "RSS" in it, or radio wave lookin' things) in the address bar, add it to your Bookmarks Toolbar, and click ok.MasterGTThis forum now has an RSS feed, but I have never gotten RSS to work with FireFox. All I see is the XML code when I click on it.
FF is supposed to be RSS-ready, so what do I need to do to get these working with it?
Cheers,
MasterGT
SwiftJordan, I'm really enjoying the RSS feature.
I was just wondering if it's possible to get the feeds of your subscribed threads. But I guess RSS doesn't work that way?![]()
I guess I wasn't clear enough. You click on the orange box (it has "RSS" in it, or radio wave lookin' things) in the address bar, add it to your Bookmarks Toolbar, and click ok.
No, that's part of the problem. I don't get the icon in the URL addressbar, only on the page.SageMasterGT: I’m not sure why it’s not working for you. Are you using Firefox 1.5? When you click the radio icon, you shouldn’t get a page load at all – you should get a dialog box that comes up and asks you where to bookmark the feed. You’re clicking the icon in the addressbar, right? (Where the URL is; not anywhere on the site itself.)
Very strange. I also have the latest version of FF and it has no trouble detecting the RSS feed (indicated by the icon in the address bar).MasterGTNo, that's part of the problem. I don't get the icon in the URL addressbar, only on the page.
I also have the latest edition of FF.
