Note: For full General Competition Rules, please see HERE.

This race falls under the GTMSA GCR for Online Racing. All standard online rules apply including

  • [*]No Cheating, Hybrids, Sharking, or running incorrect settings. Run the car I set up for you.
[*]Try and keep two wheels on the road at all times. No shortcuts. This is endurance racing, mistakes will happen. But do not take advantage of it.
[*]No wall-riding. It slows you down. It's also a good way to get a penalty.
[*]Save some sort of proof of your race time and setup. I have had to ask for proof before, and it has cost podiums. Digital Pic, replay, video, anything that can show total time and settings used.
[*]All entries must be received by the deadline, or will result in a DNS. Anyone wishing for a DNF and 1pt participation must notify the Race Steward before deadline
[*]Entrants must fully complete the registration form (ie. time submission information) or risk penalties for insufficient information.

Registration form (Time Submission Information) is below and must be fully completed.

Good luck.

There was an error in my files, and I have lost certain files that I've had to use my backups with. Consequently, I have lost the registration information for the full season. I've done my best for Round 1, but if everyone would either confirm or, if not included, please let me know and I will be adding you quickly.

I'm sorry, I've done my best.

Resent in my Entries so that things can get cleared up. ;)

My registration checks out 👍 But in pre-season testing the Judd car tested and compared to the other's at only 936 Kg, not 945 Kg.

ERacer

The registration is on the money.

I didn't get around to doing the second tire test, thanks for keeping my name up. Everything's correct.

Based on what I posted here, its all good friend:tup:

My entries have not changed from the original interest/registration thread!
As in this post!

Please include me! I know I have not been on much lately. But I am going to race, so amend the entries list please!👍

Neil

Thanks all. Neil, I will get your entry up hopefully tonight. Everyone needs a break I know, and hopefully you and the fam have gotten into a good routine.

Phil: the Judd did test at 936, but final stats are up for the season...well, for the start of the season. I will say that you should never assume the stats are the same week-to-week, as things can change throughout the season with "Competition Adjustments." there'll be an announcement if it changes through the full season, but preseason testing is for that purpose.

hope that helps...good luck everyone.

Hmmm ... I thought the point of pre-season testing was to evaluate each car at the specific pre-season power/weight ratios. And then make a decision based upon how well the car behaved at those settings. One of the main reasons I chose the Judd '04 was because of it's p/w ratio settings. Now, that has changed. Given the choice, I'd rather have 9 kgs less weight than, say, 9 more HP's. The HP settings are so high on these cars that adding another 9 HPs to the 770 HP Judd engine will not really improve lap times, but a 9 Kg reduction in weight will improve tire wear and handling. But, no big deal - I like the Pescarolos too much to give them up 👍 :D

Shotgun .. could you change my race number for the BMW M3 to : 81 and also the sponsor is now : MICHELIN

Many thanks 👍

What happened to the timed race format ? .. or did i miss something ?

Hi all. I was originaly down to race the Viper in GT1 class also, but was going to withdraw that entry owing to lack of time. So all's good, thanks!

Question: can we use better tires in our qualifying than in the race? For instance, mediums in the qual. to get a good lap and hards in the race to minimize pits?

For qualifying, you must use Racing Medium (RM) only, front and back. No other tire compound may be used for qualifying.

For the race, you may use any combination of RS, RM and/or RH. You may, for example, use RS for the first few laps, then change to RM for later laps. Or simply stay with whichever compound you like, as long as it is RS, RM, RH. You may find that a combo of RS for front tires and RM for rear tires works best. That's okay too.

I just noticed you're from CO. Where are you? I'm heading out to Louisville next week for a week and then to Libby, Montana for a week.

See you on the track 👍

Holy crap, you too?! I shall look forward to meeting you guys:)

This could be great! Where are you going to be?

My brothers live outside Boulder, CO. I'm visiting them starting June 29th until July 7th and then I'm in Montana until July 12th. On the agenda: fishing, four wheeling, horseback riding, boating and plenty of good grilling. But no GT4, sadly.

I think Fort Collins is less than an hour from where my brother's live.

ERacer

OK boys!

The Tyre King is back in action, and loving the smell of hot (but not burning) rubber in the morning!

Got a new lease on life (ish), got a nice new mesh high-back chair to drive in, and feeling good for a change!

If you see a speck in-front of you, or a rear-view mirror full of rapidly approaching car with a bald, fat, scouser in it; just about to overtake...........

It'll be me!👍

Neil

hmmmmmmmmmm .. good news the king is back 👍.. no bald bloke overtook me though

I just remembered I'm heading to Fort Morgan so I might not be able to see you:indiff:

Good to see you again TK 👍 I can't say that I've seen you in my rear view mirror either, but then again, I'm on RS/RS and in the pits a lot on this track so you may have lapped me. :ouch:

Times are submitted. :)

I'm really proud of myself today. I've now gotten Tire Combos down. I've now got a good strategy worked out and hopefully I'll win with it. Times will be coming at 3:00 today

I think I should say, I probably will not race this GTPLMS. It would be fun, but various vacations and the hunt for max A-Spec points (= 24hr endurances) will make it impractical for me to devote the time to it. If you would like to remove my entries, feel free. 👍

No times from me I'm afraid!

I had the 'Flu earlier last week and now both the wife and Grace have come down with it, so basically, I've been running round like a headless chicken looking after the two girls and had no time for the planned runs today.

Will be participating early for the next round to make sure I get some runs done.

Sorry!
Neil

TImes submitted, a little later then I expected.

Ah man, you can't catch a brake either? Today is not a good day to be either of us:indiff:
