Times done .. though i may get into the Nissan again tonight .

Love this series .. thanks to the race directors 👍

Hello everyone. Thank you for the warm welcomes
You're welcome. :D

I'm going to try and get the DFP setup tonight and get the Fuji race in. I am quite familiar with this track in a LMP1 car as I ran a 1000km spot race here at Fuji in a C60 not too long ago.
How well did you do in that race, and what were you up against there? (I've yet to try out that race myself. :O )

I have what I think is a decent time to submit, but I got the urge to try to better it tonight. ;)

I finished dead last :(. Some 10+ laps off the pace (of the online human drivers but miles ahead of the AI cars). Mainly due to the fact I had to use b-spec for 50%+ of the race due to time restrains. Heres the thread

After driving around the track in arcade mode for a few laps...wow! It is a blast to drive the C60 here in aracde mode. In simulation mode you have to deal with an oddly balanced but fast car but in aracde mode the handling is neutral...it brings all the fun back into driving these cars.

Welcome to the Jungle Earth! :)

Got my McLaren times done as best I can.
Got my RX-7 Quali time done, still working on the race!

Just HAVE to shave that extra 15 seconds off that I nearly had, until on L17 the bleeding Zonda exited the pits right in-front of me, and decided to tap me in the rear-quarter while I was doing 180mph down the straight 6 inches from the grass!

Bloody stupid AI in this game, infuriates me sometimes! :ouch:

Getting low 25 T1's, low to mid 41 T2's, and low 1'04 T3's on RM/RS's

Every lap within .5 of each other!

Neil

I've got as good as I'm gonna get this week, I'll submit my times when I get home from work today.

Welcome to earth...Earth! Kick the tires and light um up!!!

Delfino stepped out of his NISSAN after a long day at Mt Fuji .. after some new data collected by rival teams and his team mate .. Del had decided to re-run all his cars except the AUDI ... he was heard muttering something about the grip level of the BMW with worn tyres .. with a smile on his face :)

These cars sure put a smile on your face

Ran my race today. Restarted just once after 6 laps. Car worked fine, just a couple of small mistakes. Not a winning time but I had fun.

Can't wait to actually drive side by side with you guys in GTHD

Your right about two things Earth .. racing in arcade mode / this racing comp' has given me a new lease of GT life 👍

GTHD / PS3 on a HD TV will be a welcome bonus for all GT nutz while waiting for the release of GT5

How do you know yours isnt a winning time ? ? ?

Times submitted, had lots of fun with this track. Have no idea how I'll stack-up, but I got all I could out of both cars. Good Luck Ya'll !!!

Gonna go start practice at Midfield...see ya there!!!

Goodness!

Everyone's keen this week! I believe we still have about over 20 hours to get a time in? Don't we?:scared: :)

I drove the car at 90% to make sure I didnt wreck or go off. I'm sure theres someone out there who pushed it 100% the whole time and kept restarting the race until they could get all 18 laps in at 100% without any mistakes.

So therefore I lose lol.

I'm really itching to drive next to you guys side by side. Online racing in other sims is very fun but I can only imagine how fun it will be with my favorite racing sim.

As much as I love OLR, I too can't wait till we can race side by side. On so many races in all the series here times are so close to each other, sometimes by hundriths of a second. It's hard to imagine the same results when we're running side by side. So many more dimensions and much greater competition then the AI's (if you can call them competition)and the dymamics will be totally different from what we're used to. I can't wait !!!

On the race this week Earth as in most weeks, I drive at about 90% to give me consistant lap times and reducing the possibility of excursions off the track. Although in quali I'll go 100% until I hit the nearest to perfect lap I'm capable of, whice usually is not quite enough at GTP. Great reality check when you come and race here, you get used to losing very quickly. Personally I'd rather not be the fastest guy, number one I couldn't stand the pressure and number two I find it more fun to have something to aspire to, and there's plenty of that here!!!

Just posted my P1 Times. Finally I've gotten a good rhythm of the track to the series specs. Hope GT2 will be just as successful.

Well, RL has been a pain the past week.
Haven't even turned a lap on the track as of yet :nervous:
Sorry there partner, been having a troublesome week. I'll get a time in, but I'm not expecting anything but last this week.

OK!

Finally managed to get yet another race done in the RX-7

Didn't manage to get the 15 seconds I wanted, but did find nearly 8 of them so am happy with my times.

Drew!
You got me in the McLaren as to race times (which I think will be the story of the season), but not the qualifying! By only 0.046 of a second!
In the RX-7, it's the opposite.
I got you in the race, by about 4 seconds only, but you have me in the qualifying by 1.1ish seconds! 👍

Gonna be a close one again this week!

Neil

Well Neil being that the NTSB edition is better on tires in the Mac then the PAL edition, you're correct. While you have to run RH while I run RM's on the rear that definatly gives me an advantage....that I'm more then happy to exploit :)

I think we can all agree real life is far more important than GT4. Hope any problems show sign of improving asap!

ok, time sent :indiff:

Didn't put much effort into the pole this week, as there are no points for getting it.

Ran a one stopper with RS's. Don't expect any points out of this either :grumpy: The work schedule just wouldn't allow me time that this track needed...sigh.

:nervous: a little nervous about the Drewpy Balls team. The past few weeks have seen their blistering times hold up, and am expecting the same again this week. If they're that close in times, it doesn't bode well for the GT classes  ... I wonder if their cars smell like used jockstraps ? :sly:

Hope to be able to put some time into the next race, as the upcoming work schedule looks good at the moment 👍

Good luck all 👍

J.R.
