GTPLMS Round 5 - 24 Laps of Le Mans

I did the qualifying laps first before tackling the race itself. Haven't done it the last two days though, so I'm satisfied w/my time. Hopefully it'll do well in the Qualifying results.

Gonna post the times to Shotgun in a moment. And I'll say the advice he gave me on RS for the rears worked out quite fine for me. I thought for a while I was going to put a note by my time that said (Finished 23 Laps)

Really not happy with the MacLaren race, it is clean, but not fast enough.
But OK with the quali lap time!

Happy enough with the RX-7 race, and the fastest lap, but not so much with the quali time.

We'll just have to see where the pieces fall.

Mind you, I have to admit I am a little worried by my performances in the Mac.
Take this week,
quite a few including yourself have been talking about doin 5 hot laps on medium or soft rears. My Mac will only do 4.1! Basically, medium rears are toast at T1 on lap 5.
No matter how gentle I am, the car just eats em!

Spent the last few days trying to get 7 laps out of hards, and keep up with the +10 field, slipstreaming the AMG Merc most of the first 5 laps till he crashes with fried fronts, and watch my back for that bloody yellow Vertigo, and baby the rears, and, and, and!

Gave up trying this afternoon, before I either threw the ps2 through the window, or went outside and murdered the next door kids for playing quietly in thier back garden!
Had to settle for my +7 run, which I know is not up to scratch (read, slower than Drew by a mile)

More positive about the RX-7 race time though!

I've only got one decent Race time this Round. I should have run the GT class Camaro more instead of wasting a lot of time on the GTS. It's to late now to worry about it....so 'Balls', don't worry to much about you Mac time.....it's better than no time.

I'll have to make my big comeback next round.....💡 👍
