Yes, the 8800+ posts old reputation thread was useless for the marketplace according to a mod....so it ended up in a locked discussion thread and a deleted reputation thread.

Well that's just flipping wonderful. I for one, will not ever use this thread for it's intended purpose. It's a good thing I've been around here long enough to know who to trust.

I was really hoping we could've settled this with debate and reason, like adults. Wishful thinking apparently.
 
Im waiting day when I open gtp at morning...Take bit coffee like every morning...Then it happens WHERE IS MARKETPLACE! I go panic and asking everyone what happened ? Mods deleted it... Why? BECOUSE THEY CAN :lol:

In my honest opinion a lot of the agrument was for the old thread and nothing in way of feed back in implementing the new thread was coming back.
So I guess that many had said all that was in favour of the old thread and nothing new was being said to why the new thread has over the old thread.
So in that context I guess everything had been debated?

Out of respect to a certain member, I wanted to discuss the situation to him before resolving this issue. It was as simple as that before another member decided to act like a child and show disrepect whilst I'm trying to carry out my role as a member of staff.

I'm sorry that happened but I feel as though it was better when people had the freedom to post their thoughts and not derail this thread even further as it was before you kindly moved the post to a more appropriate place. Plus I feel the majority were waiting for your feedback in that thread, but when it was closed people took it as the discussion was over and their opinions where not properly addressed.

This was exactly my perception. And without any notice, I hope it can be understood why we may have perceived it that way.
In regards to the situation, I really hope our cries for action have been heard, and will be properly addressed. I don't think it's too much to ask for us to be able to vote on the most reasonable action and move forward with it.
After all, it's not like we're deciding on Parliament or Presidents here.

My issue from the beginning regarding this thread as a discussion thread was that it was out of place due to the already existing discussion thread. But now that that thread is closed, sadly this thread has become the only logical place to post in. I only hope we can get this issue resolved so we can get our only rep thread back on track.
