Hey the hyper rich like to play as well you know!

@Uga uhm Kermit was the name of the C4 I used in my first F.I.T.T. FF shootout...:odd:

@Tak uhm you just blew my mind with that 100...last thing I expected to see.:dopey::bowdown: While I did my best to improve the handling didn't really think anyone not as crazy as the Ol'Wallbanger here would find it a decent ride in a tight Touge course setting. Thanks:tup:👍

I called mine Kermit, cause its painted in a two-tone green. I'll rename it to "Le Kérmit". Just popped a low 37 on Akina.

That's what I don't get most…you score 100 for building a tank with a rocket on its back, and I get 99 for making something that drives rather nice? Are we being scored on how insane we can make things?

These are temporary marks for now, don't worry. You may be one of the people to be in the Max Tourney for this Round.

And Sector & Reviews Updated.

Fine choice. Remember, When in doubt think, What would Jeremy Clarkson do?

Done with tuning "Le Kérmit for tonight. Fun fact, The car actually does a wheelie at the start. A wheelie. At 100+MPH.

Just my own thoughts here but...despite my problems trying to get a handle on Mt. Akina it seems to be a much more flowing track than Eiger. A lot more medium speed corners that reward grip and ability to maintain good speed through them and fewer tight low speed corners that count on a cars ability to rotate quickly to navigate them. Couple that with the slightly longer straights and high speed curves and the kinds of tunes that work well there should be much different than for the current season. Onboys car was able to shine here at Eiger despite its limited power because of its ability to quickly negotiate the first sectors hairpins and the very short course prevents the more powerful cars from gaining much advantage in the second sector. Somehow doubt that even with less weight and a touch more power the Impreza would be fairing so well time wise at Akina.:odd:

I'm very satisfied with how my Cyborg Ninja scored. Certainly not the fastest, but it can run with the big boys and is hella fun. I purposely didn't add any aero parts to keep that street-car feel.

Had I added front aero and/or splitters the turn-in would've been more aggressive but it would have also been more on-the-edge and easier to oversteer. Possibly half a second or less faster through the sector.

I've also been working on my EG6 for Season 2. Mwahahahaha!

SSnake…ehh…I don't think splitters make a difference in performance, just makes it look nicer. Or in this case, a tad bit tackier.

All veyrons do at most Toscana tracks.

I beg to differ. Have you tested a car with/without front aero? Not much difference at low power but beyond 530PP it's a discernable difference.

You won't get any extra power and your top speed in straights might suffer, on really fast cars, but cornering stability is improved.

I've been trying out a few different cars for T300. Been considering an RX-7 Type R '91 but I don't really want to tune another FD even though this one has been very fun and very fast. I want to do something slightly different from the usual staple of JDM Touge cars. Though those are usually the lightest and fastest.

hence why my T300 car is European

Ugh...are we talking front aero as in front wings that only premium cars can get? Or front aero as in the non-adjustable bits in the Aerodynamics menu when you add a rear wing on say a R35 or a F430 Scud?

Because for the latter, yes, that front aero makes a difference, but not the front aero like splitters and such for the 80s Supra and those cars, since front wings have no affect on handling for them that I've found.

Well, I'm referring to the Front Aero you can add to premium cars. Adjustable or not, they make a difference to the cars' cornering dynamics. Idk about thy Mk. III Supra, since I haven't tested that particular car, but in almost all premium cars the front aero, be it a spoiler, lip or splitter, makes a small difference in cornering. And more so when you have more power.

Hmm…well, I've never felt the slightest difference in adding it, so you know, each to their own.

Anyway…Mat, we've had Tak's results…I've had most of my moaning done, now let me finish with your results being posted!

So in Tak's world, that would be RE-RX7 vs Aqua Impreza in GT5?

Haha, basically. XD The car was stable when I put the torque spilttet at 50/50 after. It didnt oversteer as much and had enough steering information.

Well..I decided to redo my MCR R34 today with a brand new R34 straight out of the NCD, re-did few things and marked 19.051! Hehe, I'll probably use this tune for Max Round 2 for revenge appearance. Even used TCS(ATTESA-PRO)

*UPDATE* I managed to hit 18.788!!

I thought the GTR's diff thing only kicked in when using stock diffs and was nothing to do with traction control settings? And to be honest, you could walk past my Impreza on the S2 track, the settings just don't fit the course, the car can't respond quick enough in some areas.

My old R34 had quite bit of understeer and needed a bit more rotation. It turns out it was because of the ballast too, I added only -20 to maintain the front to the new setup. It has about 641(650ps) due to new power-map setting. I'll probably release the tune, It's getting quite more control at the front then before. I'm really happy with the setup now.

Might replace this tune for this season if Mat's alright with it.

What? For this season, S1?

Yeah, lol. But it's Tak's decision.

Think of him as a co-leader of this shootout. :p

EDIT: Nevermind. Tak, you can enter the retuned version in season 2 instead. The guys below me are quite right.
