Hey, I'm normally a drifter, but I decided to hang out today in a drag room. I just bought the GTR Black DLC, mildly tuned it, and was driving it when I went in the room. I have been in this guy's room before, and I heard him talking about not liking the car, because it was "too fast." So I went to where they were racing, and I pulled to the side to watch. I then heard one of the guys say "It's another Black Edition. Kick him", and I got kicked. Keep in mind that I was parked in the grass just watching the race, not intending to race myself, and I had just entered the room. I was just wondering if anyone else has had this problem. Sorry for the long "rant" post, just wanted to be understood clearly.

only take it out if more than two people have it out.

Well, if they were running much slower cars, the host tends to kick you for that matter. If they were using the Black Edition or equal themselves, they wouldn't have kicked you. (Obv!)
Well, don't let this put you off drag racing, this sort of issue happens to everyone, just find another room and forget about it. Only for that matter, get started on tuning the slower cars so you would have a variety of them for different rooms, less chance of getting kicked this way instead of using a Black Editon in, say for example, a Honda room

Before actually entering the track look to see what cars are being used, especially the host. Don't pull a black edition out in a room full of supras or muscle 👍

Edit- treed...twice

I'll do that, thanks. I just didn't know if anyone here had the same problem. I wasn't even going to race, though. I had even pulled off into the grass at an odd angle. I was just in the car at the time. I guess it was just a "Noob-in-a-GTR-kick-him" thing.

Happens to everyone at one point in time lol

The drag racing community is very unreceptive to new players. There are a lot of unwritten rules that you will get kicked for breaking, without even knowing it

Its one of those things you need to get into all the way or not at all. A 'mildly tuned' car is going to get beat by such a length there is no point in even trying.

My advice to you is, observe, observe, observe. Go into a room, and look what everyone is driving. You dont want to be that guy who brings a Z28 to a R35 party. And vise versa. Watch what people do, line up, ghost. Practice your reaction time, and grow

I've been kicked from a billion rooms for a billion reasons. People are dumb, don't let it get to you. There are always plenty more rooms out there.

I totally get this. I even have a couple cars I'm trying to tune for drag racing. However, my GTR is not one of them. When I said mildly tuned, I meant there wasn't a lot of horsepower, and it's because that's one of my track cars, not a drag car. I just happened to be in it at the time. I didn't intend to race it, I just wanted to see what I was up against. I was kicked before I could explain myself. I do appreciate the tips, though, and I'll know now. Thanks for the help.

Some hosts, especially in smaller limited rooms for say 8 or 10 people may kick someone who isn't racing to make room for someone else. Best way to learn is to jump right in. There's a lot of people who'll help you through the process in a lobby.

This is understandable, however, most rooms I've been in, the host will ask if it's ok to kick or for someone to leave. Maybe they're just more considerate (if that's the right word for this situation) in drift rooms. Also, this room's max was 16 and had only 5 people, including me. Seeing as this was far from full, I'll say I was kicked for my car, but I will save this tip for later.
