I though that it'd be a good idea to have a thread with links to as many downloads for GTR as possible. Basically if you know a download page for a car track or feature for the game post a link in here and a mention of what the download is.

On another note, I think it'd be a good idea if GTR had it's own section like LFS and Need for speed especially since it's getting a new game GT Legends. It's up to the admin's, I tihnk it's worthy but anyhow.

http://www.gtr4u.de/board.php?boardid=25&sid= This is a great site for GTR downloads, it links you to other sites as well as hstin many of it's own downloads. The site is German but well worth registering just for the downloads. Theres a more powerful M3 GTR available here too.

Also theres http://forum.rscnet.org/ which is an english language site that has forums for many major racing games, theres a GTR one too which has loads of downloads in it, setting cars, tracks ect. However some of the downloads will link you to gtr4u.de so a I mentioned before, it's worth registering for both.

I'll start heres a page with 10 new tracks including a LeMans pack with the 1990 version as well as current and a version of Grand Valley from Gran turismo.

Good idea

GTR links: You can find almost every link you need for GTR on this site. Not only links to other site, some of them mentioned a few posts down, but also information, updates, forums, etc....
 
GTR Resource is a good one. The admin is very helpful with your problems and has helped me install 2005 FIA GT mod by taking the Bahrain file out of the mod.
 
I'm part way through a Nurburgring 24hr race right now racing in a TVR Cerbera NGT car just doing a few hours a day, I'm 12th but first in my class and ahead of a few GT class cars an a lot of GT2 cars, the GT3 class get lapped all the time. Download the Zurich 24hr Nordschleife race here http://www.psx-esports.de/gtr/tracks/zurich24h/GTRMAN_Zurich_24H_ver1.3.zip it gives you the full 24hr race pluse races set at different times so if you just want to race an hour at night you can.
 
I take it you guys have the full game?

Is there anyway to get updates for the demo?

Or is there any freeware version?
 
Kikie is right.
You need the full version to take advantage of this. It's worth having though, I got my copy of Amazon for £15.
 
No 50 Euro's is about £30-35 or $60 USD, he may have been talking about £'s.

Maybe a Simbin section. Simbin, the developers of GTR and GTL and next year, GTR2. It is easier to discuss the Simbin games when there is one section 💡
 
That makes sense calling it a Simbin forum, I might PM a mod with the idea later.

That depends on the car... but let's say you want to add a Corvette.
In this case you need to drop the files in "GTR\GameData\Teams\24H\Corvette\MyCorvetteFolderHere".

For a GT car would be in "GTR\GameData\Teams\GT\..." and for a NGT car would be in "GTR\GameData\Teams\NGT\..."

Sometimes when you download a car they already come with the path on it, so extracting it to your main GTR folder is enough.
 
When you extract a folder sometimes you get two folders, the Teams folder and the Talet folder, it's just a case of putting the contents of each folder you downloaded as MacRaodster said, in the equivelent folder in the GTR directory.

I don't know what they're called, but the M3 is enticing...
 
Looks like the Grand Valley was made using the GT1/2 version and then retextured. Still cool though :)

I remember a magazine saying the cars in GT2 were made out of 500 polies, more like 250 by my count.

I'll pm you a link to the M3, Cerbera and Skyline models I've uploaded to yousendit.com complete with additional teams added, just add the M3 and Cerbera files to the NGT teams folder and the Skyline to the GT teams folder, if your on again before I get back from work don't worry I've not forgot to PM you I'll do it later on. Some of them are a pain to get I had to register to a German site and locate a few in German, took ages so once they're uploaded I'll give you the link.

Oh yeah, I've just found the download for the Audi R8 as well.
 
Hey guys, what settings do you use for the DFP with FIA GTR ? I have played around with a few of the settings and some feels kinda weird, I talking about the force feedback settings ?
