GTR speculation

So, I've been watching the Best Motoring GTR prodigy video and they discuss the next GTR and various posibilities. Both they, and a japanese magazine mentioned the posibility of electrically driven front wheels and the motor powered rear. Similar to what is found on the japanese market Nissan march except the electric motors are in the rear on the march. Anyway, all that would be done in order to save weight, which is critical on car such as the GTR. Now obviously if Nissan were to use such a thing the engine would power the rear not the front like on the march, which lead many people to think that in an effort to save even more weight, that nissan would base the next GTR on it's mid4 concept which is an MR platform, if such a thing were to be done that means the 2+2 would be out. That would also seem a bit to NSX-ish, so maybee it would retain the 2+2 with an FR layout and keep the electrics up front. The anti-lag system sounds cool, if it can work with current aftermarket turbos, considering the current situation of the GTR there will be a really strong aftermarket to support it :)

Anyway IMO, key point to the next GTR should be a decrease in weight, great throttle response and power int the 400+ range. However no matter what they do I'm sure Nissan wont dissapoint us.

Anyway feel free to speculate away!

yeah, ive also heard rumors of that 'E-4WD' system, i hope they dont do that
