If weather is OFF, yes. That race last season was a complete disaster with the rain. :yuck: Make it night/day only with no rain and then I'll be happy to have it.

If we do that, lets try to set the time so it cycles day into the night and the last lap or two have the sun coming up

I'm good for the nurburgring 24h. Good with heavy damage. Be a rewarding end to the season

Tokyo is great but its a bit of a slip fest. Not tested it with the new slip mind but I expect its easy still.

I say we wait, at least, until we kind of know about the next update. We never know; we may be graced with a new racetrack.

If not, I vote for Madrid. It would be nice to have another street track, and it's more entertaining than it gets credit for.

Spa should definitely not be used twice. Masi threw it in there twice because he made the schedule when Spa had just come out and he thought the hype for the track would live forever - no.

Anyway, the reason we at JGTS used Suzuka twice wasn't only because it's such a fun, amazing, and extremely challenging track, but also because it's really the only track where the string of Super GT cars at these spec's are almost perfectly even.

Any car can get pole at Suzuka or win a race. So the only deciding factor really is just driver ability.

This is why it's a great last track.

And, regarding the question of "Why repeat tracks when there's so many?"
Well, because there's a huge difference between a proper race track and not. There really is only a limited amount of tracks in GT5 that suit a large series well. That's why repeating one doesn't hurt, only helps keep the racing consistent, so don't look at it as a negative.

This isn't just a Friday night "Let players vote" thing, we have to be careful. Don't just throw out tracks because you like the idea of them.

So that's what I would really urge you all to consider. Trust me, if you do Suzuka you'll be thanking me after the season's decided.

I would prefer to have 10 different tracks. 1 criteria must be that all tracks have to be real life world tracks. It would be epic to have a 250k mini enduro around Tsukuba. 16 cars battling for final positions in the championship. Whoever won a race like that would never forget it.

I also think it would be a good idea to replicate real life super gt racing and remove all ballast for the final round.

If we don't get a new nice DLC track, I think we should use Grand Valley for the season finally.

Its a balanced track with a bit of everything. Some straights with also a technical part with slow and medium speed corners. Given this, I don't think any car will be at advantage which I think is important for the last race.

Even if I like Tokio too, and given the japaneze flavour of the championship, but its a highspeed track and some high topspeed cars would have advantage. Same goes for Tsukuba, but it would favour HP strong cars.

Grand Valley feels like a race track and would be a fair last race for the competition.

Just my two cents

I never liked GVS, something about it I do not get maybe.

Tsukuba is much better imho. We had a good race there last week in RX-7 TC's. It is certainly possible to have a race with no more incidents than usual.

I'm saying this despite I think my RX-7 will have more advantage at GVS. Tsukuba is probably more for the Garaiyas and IS350.

Sarthe is way too skewed toward the cars with good top speed because of the massive straights, so it wouldn't be a good replacement for Spa, in-fact it'd be much worse than Spa in terms of fairness.

We did Tsukuba last season, it was one of the funner races for me, extremely intense all the way through and definitely manageable.

GVS is a thought... It kind of goes against the spirit of WSGTC in that it's fictional but I personally wouldn't care as I used to futily argue for featuring some fictional tracks in past seasons but Masi never went for it.

If it truly is a track where the cars are balanced then it'd be a good bet.

Tokyo's always been a wish of mine to see in WSGTC... But that's all I'll say about that.

I still think Suzuka would work perfectly, especially if all ballast is ruled out as per twisted's suggestion.

Not sure how i should read that part you fixed lol.

Thanks BTW:cheers: . Now thats she's here this is the only racing i have time for. Plus a little tuning during the week to get my qualifying done. And @#$% all sleep:crazy:

I would be happy to have a final race at Suzuka, but for me that would mean removing Suzuka from earlier in the season and replacing it with another track. That would give litchi a huge workload.
The chances are that Suzuka will also be used in the end of season race-off. Using it in pre-season, twice in the season and in the of season finale will be a little too much, IMO.
Tsukuba would be epic. How many pit stops? By the last race of the season everyone should be used to the full damage idea and how to drive accordingly.

One alternative wouldbe to use Suzuka twice and make one race changable weather. That would certainly give a different feel to both races.

Qual could be done with 100% water and rain (same conditions for all)

Yeah I'd love to but the NSX's would simply suffer way too much in the rain and it would just kill the weekend. We had a wet race at Spa and it made the Hondas useless.

What twisted said about the shoot-out race is a good point. I completely forgot about it.

So I propose that Suzuka is moved to the last race of the season and should be replaced with Tokyo. Having Tokyo on the calender is no less realistic then having Monaco on the calendar as Cote de Azur is more like a tribute to F1's Monaco circuit than a proper simulation of the track. All of the surrounds of the track are real, it's Tokyo, it would be a dream race in real life and it's just awesome to picture the cars shooting around there.

Whether it should be a same or mixed class race, I'm not sure, but I'd lean toward same class.

I do totally agree Suzuka should be moved to the last race for an epic even show down.

I remember I raced in the Tsukuba GP with you guys last season. Was really great fun but I rather use GVS imo.

SuperSic
Of course man.

I have checked back through the threads and have found that widowmaker should have 10 bonus points by the end of round 2 and Apollo should have 8.
I have passed the details on to litchi.
Thanks tony 👍

Edit: I can see what has happened now. The round 2 bonus points were added twice, I am sure as litchi has read this, he will alter it.

Did I have less or more bonus points before you adjusted them twisted?

You are currently showing as 13 bonus points and widowmaker 14 bonus points.
I am not sure what has happened but too many has been added.

i don't know to whom i should ask this question, but will we have special condition races , like a night race or a rainy race? if not, why not then to have a couple of special condition events that will make the championship more exciting and challenging? would you agree with me people?
