It's going to be brilliant. Can't wait for night racing. I pity the guys in standard cars though, the headlights are probably a lot dimmer, but when racing on this track you see more with your heart than with your eyes.

Yep, this will be a real challange. In the standard cars yop don't really see the apex of the corners until fairly late (or not at all), making the line a bit of a guess work. Clearly slower around this track in the dark.
I must say that doing a night race as the last one is not totally fair with us in standards cars. I just tried the 2006 model of the RX7, premium model, and its a big difference in driving them in the dark. Track is much brighter, the light beam is wider so you see the apex of the coming corner much better.
The lights aren't exactly brilliant on my premium gt500 car either, but you only need to see where others are.
Once I joined a midnight kart race and everyone was using the DLC karts that have a light but I only had the regular one with no lights at all . Made it up to flugplatz but then I lost it.

I am picking up my daughter from work at the mo. I haven't had much practice time this week, on a track I don't know at all. I am way too slow, 30 seconds a lap. So , don't wait for me. If its ok I will just watch tonight. I don't want to get in anyone's way when the stakes are high, top 4 etc.

Well done. Falcon, Byggy, doc all having connection problems. Try everything to make sure they are ok. Josh disconnects during the formation and carry on. Very sporting, that's the top 4 sorted then.
Last week the driver suffering from lag is this week's host. I am baffled.
