I'm gonna have to pull out, mainly because of the amount of coursework I have to do during the week...and partly because of my driving skills. I joke it's just the work :p Gonna have to forget racing in the week, sorry guys :(
 
How was the race?
 
horrible i cant race laguna seca to save my life its the worst track ever!!! on the bright side i get epic starts in these i jumped 2 places on the start :D.... only to go off :grumpy:
 
Aderrm won both races and i finished behind him both races. End of story. :D its not fair putting aliens vs humans. 👍
 
Well...
I can tell you one thing. This car is a difficult beast to tame.
Driving it at Laguna for the first time didn't help it either. Been busy practicing for WSGTC.
There were 9 of us I think and as I made a few errors I was alone most of the time.
But the car is fun to drive.
Adam blamed the team and his crewchief on having problems in both race's last laps. :D No M&Ms for them.
 
Cheers for turning up guys, the last race i had the miss ringing the door bell CONSTANTLY which put me off and i crashed, so then i thought i might aswell leave and let her in before i get told off even more haha.

She was not pleased il tell you that.

Great race thought had a little battle with kamy and biffy

If i feel better soon, i might hold sprint races tomorrow, around the same time.
 
i just got off work sorry i couldnt make it, and im from Canada not the US

Anyway, ill be holding a race tonight at about 11.00 am PST / 07.00 pm BST.... although there's maintenance tomorrow - ill have to take a look at the official times and confirm.
 
im going to half to drop out for the foreseeable future due to unforeseen stuff. but i will be an impartial steward if you find yourself in need of one

Damn right! It's my brake pedal actually. :nervous:

We were talking about other games so much before the 2nd race I forgot we had false start checks on so that's why I was so far back at the start. I overtook a few people then overtook 3 more people because someone had made a mistake and there was a crash. I'm 3rd, trying to catch up Nep and Pag and Nep makes a mistake which gives me 2nd. Then Pag made a mistake which gave me 1st.

Always happens... you think with a reverse grid people would try not to make mistakes to give them the best chances of winning/getting a podium.

Well, it looks like WSGTC won't run this friday. Maybe race these V8's tomorrow? :D

If it does happen, i won't be able to host... will be out the whole day.

Would be nice to have a full grid of 16. Need some photos for banners and such.
 
Offences - any breach of rules in observation of Racing Code.
Safety Rating - rating given to a driver based on his Racing Conduct. A max safety rating is 5.00 while the least is 1.00.
License Class - In descending order
A Class
B Class
C Class
D Class
Rookie Class

Rookie Class - Must participate in 4 races while maintaining 3.00 Safety Rating.
Promotion - maintaining a Safety Rating of 4.50 and above for 4 races. Will have to pass through steward deliberation.
Demotion - maintaining a Safety Rating of below 2.00 for 4 races. Will have to pass through steward deliberation.​

any plans for monday?

Im working early shift so i shud be on ;)
 
I'm thinking about moving this to Saturdays and the Grand Touring Series (RM Cars) to this slot.

What do you think?
 
erm not that botherd either way. I might miss a some as it is a saturday night but sometimes i stay in anyway, need to save the pennys
 
Yeah, well these NASCARs are proving to be a bit unpopular. I'm thinking the Aussies would appreciate it more (moving it to Saturday nights PST - so that would be early morning in BST).

But! I'm still planning a race for Monday just for fun (before or after the BTCC race). After that, ill be locking this thread until further notice (after testing of the RM cars).
 
Are you really going with the time change? If so I'd really doubt that I'll make it, which is a shame I was really loving driving these downtuned Nascars, they are a lot of fun! :(
