Hmmm, i just started my Hotline server back up, and i got to thinking.
what about hosting a free devoted Hotline server for GTBN, GTPlanet, granturismo.com, and all the GT 1, 2, and 3 fans? thinking to myself, i thought it was a reasonably good idea. people who havent heard of Hotline, Hotline supports easy filesharing, forum discussions (even though we have a gigantic forum here, it would be nice to post stats in the server forums for quick and easy use on the server), live chat, and the ability to have a seperate account for each user that logs on, giving them specific privlages to what they can and cant do on the server. the server would also be a good place for anyone to host their GT 1,2, and 3 saves/replays. the files uploaded by the users would be permanently stored on the server. Hotline is very easy to use and im providing a step-by-step guide on how to connect to the server.
what do you all think?
incase anyone here is interested (i started this topic at GTBN and someone suggested to advertise on the GT forums.), ive already got the server up and running. accounts have been made for the users that have logged on, and all is going very well. one of the members has already started uploading files. so, if anyone is interested, you can download the files, and follow the guide to connect to GTServe.
