GTTV - What would you want to see?

I was excited about GT TV since GT5 prologue. It's a nifty addition to the game, showing us a peek inside important events which culminated into the finished product. But right now, that is all there is to it. The information there isn't really anything that can change how people play the game. I'm starting to believe it should be renamed to KAZTV... :dopey:

But I guess PD is missing out on really teaching people about driving itself, and not just giving us a history lesson on the game and cars. It could be a public service type series on driving on hazardous conditions (icy, wet) which does not necessarily need to be about driving in the game. Or it could be a real race driving classroom type of tutorial similar to Shakedown University or the iRacing school videos (look both up on youtube 👍).

What would you want to see featured? or if you were PD, what would you put in there?
 
I think highlight reels would be cool.
From F1, ALMS, ILMC, etc. Even NASCAR would be a good addition.
That's not something I see happening though.
Requires too much upkeep.

Agree. Would love to see little highlights, even if they are priced.

I want cars or track DLC.
No more gears, helmets, gttv, museum cards...

I would prefer to see GTTV never having existed and whatever time and manpower went into making it having gone into a more fully finished game. As jaycee_xr3 said, I already have the youtube, posting some videos on there should be enough.

Since it exists, having some tutorial stuff and highlights of actual races would be cool, although highlights would also highlight some of the things(and cars) that are in real racing that GT5 lacks I suppose. EDIT: Maybe they could put some tutorials about how not to smash into everybody online, that would be useful.

I took a quick browse through it once to see what was there and there was not a single thing, free or not, that justified it's existence IMO. Just put a couple of 'making of' videos as unlockables like everybode else does and bin the whole GTTV idea.
 
It would of been awesome & useful if any 24hr Le Mans race was live streaming. Looked everywhere for some live streaming of the Le Mans but they weren't working properly. :(

That's too bad. Audi and Peugot both streamed the entire event, and with TV feeds, not just their own in-car cameras. Radio Le Mans streamed audio commentary. SPEED did stream some, but only while they were off-air. They all seemed to work fine. There were of course some unofficial streams but I didn't need or watch those this time so can't speak for the quality. Was a fantastic race this year, too.

No, not really :dopey: I'd love to see some Highlights from several racing evets, like SuperGT, V8 Supercars, DTM, etc. I was expecting to see some kind of content relating to both Le Mans & Nurb 24Hrs... but yet again, PD showed us why we do not trust in them anymore 👎:dunce:

Nürb was also live and awesome on the web. I wouldn't expect much of anything worthwhile like highlights from GTTV but of course it would be nice.
 
More free videos and much faster download speeds, I know I have a somewhat slow connection but the speeds for downloading a video from gttv is so slow I have to let it download for about 4 hours for a 10-15 minute clip.

I was exited for gttv when they had top gear episodes in prologue, but since then not so much.
 
damn they should give us some D1GP since i ve seen that all 2010 car's had the GT logo on top of the windscreen

Do they translate the episodes? I dont think Iv'e ever seen one that had captions or a translation.
So I've seen the show but had very little idea to what was going on, that makes it hard to get into.
 
GTTV is really not appreciated enough, I spent like 15 euros on some amazing programms, like the SuperGT races and best Motoring. I also bought the "All about Ferrari" series for 6 Euros, pretty cool to see Kaz race and breath in Maranello. 👍

Also, it has AMAZING FREE footage, like the Nissan GT-R series and the 24h Nordschleife race report.

Guys, what I want to say is: Try it, there's enough free amazing stuff and although some of the ones, you have to pay for are not always cheap, some of them are pretty much worth it.
