Has anyone tried this / does anyone use it?

Any feedback is appreciated. I am not skilled at tuning on my own. So I am wondering if this might be beneficial.

If you're not into tuning or don't know how to tune, this app is useless. All this app does is let you input YOUR own tunes so you can have them organized and handy, in a nice neat database.

I had it a while ago but found no use for it. If I wanted to copy a tune, I'd just take a picture, it's much easier.

Are you talking about this one .

It was just released for sale a few days ago so I don't know how you could have had it awhile ago, as you say. My friend has it and it does more than just store tunes and is far from useless. Its a very good app.

I talked about it a lot in the official GTune5 thread over in the tuning section. It is very, very useful for quickly creating tunes that need very minimal fine tuning. For someone who doesn't know much about tuning it could be very useful. For example, you'd find a tune you like on here, and put the setup into the app. Afterwards, if there was a car of a similar drivetrain type that you wanted to tune, you could use the in-tune feature and it would create a very good tune with settings based upon the car you first put into the app.

Even though I'm a pretty good tuner, I still find GTune5 very useful for creating a base for a tune. I'll use the app, and if there's a handling characteristic I don't like, I'll tune it out, then I can put the revised settings in the app and the characteristic is less likely to not appear in cars based upon the finalized tune.

But the short answer is: It's good.

Dammit, no lol, I was talking about the GtTuner App on Android. It's nothing like this one. Same app name, different app and platform :dunce:

Disregard my last post lol, it doesn't pertain to this.
