Quick question for anyone who has a 3 monitor GTX 760 setup:

It comes with 2x DVI, 1x HDMI and 1x Display Port, I want to hook up 3 monitors and my TV. The TV would go on the HDMI (I assume), 2 of the monitors on the DVI ports, which leaves monitor #3 on the Display Port.

Tell me this is right and also, what type of display port adapter should I get- active or not? Also I will be running 3 1680x1050 monitors so do I need an adapter specifically for that reso (on Newegg they have resos next to the adapters)

Go with an "Active" DP Cable.

Got 120hz monitors and want to use them?

If all your monitors support it, and are looking to run with refresh rates greater than 60hz, then you will need to use the 2x DVI ports and x1 "Active" Display port.

60hz monitors? Will not matter which combination you plug them.

HDMI is only capable of 60hz.

I went for the Active adapter. It turns out that if I only have 3 monitors hooked up (With AMD it's different, this is for NVidia only) and leave the HDMI port alone, a passive adapter is fine. But to hook all 4 inputs, the display port has to have an active adapter.

Thanks for all your replies! I appreciate the help
