It's the engine from the SCCA US Rally Championship Tiburon, which comes from a Turbo Sonata, the transmission and rest of drivetrain comes from the 4WD Mitsubishi Eclipse.

So in summary - the engine you posted, and the car it came from, had nothing to do with Gran Turismo 3 in any way. Yet you posted it in the GT3 forum.

This would be better served in the Automotive/Cars in General forum, along with the "Guess the car" thread.

Maybe, yes. I just added the thread to the same folder where the "guess that car" thread was... most of the cars there aren't GT3... I really didn't think of it, oops. Can someone move this??

I THINK that if you go to edit the first post, you should be given an "Administration Options" bit, which allows YOU to move it yourself. Failing that, no doubt a mod will do it in time

3-cyl and probably a Hyundai? Atoz, perhaps?

Yep, you got it, it's the Daihatsu Mira engine, but heavily modified This car has all wheel drive and a power to weight ratio of 300 per ton, must be a blast to drive... I'd love to own one like this!
