I'm thinking it can be Holden Monaro. If I ain't mistaken there is a Commodore that's almost identical and it may have been the Monaro that had changed it's name and then evolved into the next generation Commodore (the one also called Commodore in the game).

BTW guys, the Holden/Vauxhall Monaro is also the Pontiac GTO 5.7, the new one.
