All I can think of is the Shelby Cobra, the Series 1, and the clues are pointing me towards the Panoz Esperante.

You would be wrong in thinking that. This car is in GTPSP.

The easiest hint I can think of is that it is made by Kaz's favorite car company.

actually the laurel guess was right, I've never heard it called that, but when I looked it up it matches my car pick of the bluebird 1600
