US Top Gear is the only show on my Cable Subscription that remotely interests me. I kinda like it :p

Although I still prefer UK Top Gear. I have watched it just once and I already love it. But I just can't have it on my subscription :ouch:

X2011 it's a parody of F1.
 
The #43 2010 or '11 NASCAR (driven from Lee Petty to Richard Petty to Kyle Petty to the car in the game, AJ Almingdinger and now Aric Almerola) I may have missed a few miscellaneous drivers who drove the 43 car but thr main 3 were the Pettys. There was a Petty in NASCAR from 1949 to 2007 (around '07 then I think Kyle raced not full seasons)
 
No to all. The car's successor was parodied. The successor was voiced by an elite driver in a dub, and is the no. 1 for the car in the riddle. Find the context of the word Predecessor in the first hint.

IMO the X2011 is more similar to a LMP. Take a picture of a LMP (from the top)and a picture of a X2011 (from the top) they look very similar.
 
Gee.. I'm going on a limb by saying Ferrari F2007 and F10, though I really look forward to the explanation :)
 
Morten's right with both guesses tbh. The original riddle stated that the driver of a parodied car, in this case Raikkonnen/Lotus E20, drove the f2007.

The second guess was also technically correct. Alonso was a voice actor for Spanish dub of Cars2. Signed on for Ferrari in 2010 to replace Kimi, who three years prior replaced Michael Schumacher.

As for Kimi driving a parodied car, look at my avatar and you'll see an inconspicuous Lexus logo where it dont belong.


Edit: just the F2007. Forgot why I thumbed out that nonsense at 1 AM.
