Correct. Callaway C12 '03. (There is only one in the game)
Callaway takes Corvette's Z06 and other later cars and mods them. They mod the Corvette Z06 with a different look and design, plus they add a twin-turbo for added horsepower.

Nope... but you're certainly closer than the other guesses (which are all wrong so far, by the way)

(Another hint is that you shouldn't be looking at the name, but looking at the car itself...)

So, do you mean an evo as in an evolution of a car in some way (like how a car is considered to be considered evolving)?

Peugeot 205 Turbo 16; the Peuegeot 205 GTI was considered to be one of the all time greats in the Hot Hatch world, but since that's not in GT; the 205 Turbo is the closest.

Peugeot 206 RC?

Nope, nope and nope.
By Evo, I do mean the car was designated as 'Evo' - but another clue is that GT5 does NOT state this in the car's name!
 
im sure this is wrong, but they came to my mind...

Ford Mustang

They are all RWD with tons of generations

The e36 evo M3 is the 96-99 right? :) I amost got one of those, but instead I got an e90 328i... only 10 less HPs from said year... lots newer though

is indeed and yeah mines at 350 bhp at moment, but in all fairness even though they didnt put it in the names the e46 engne was also a evo unit

They called it an evo because it was a the same body with an improved engine etc :)

Ford GT LM *Spec II* Race/Test Car? :sly:

It's not 4wd, not a road car, it doesn't say anything about Evolution in the name (it says spec instead).. If that is indeed right, I see the logic behind it

Unfortunately, no.
What I meant was the specification for the car in real life says 'Evo', but ingame there's no mention of it (except possibly in descriptions, I haven't checked.)
 
You know that feeling when you think you know the answer to something, yet you can't make the connection?

I think a tiny hint would be useful 👍
