Swiss Alps?
Grindelwald?
Correct. The other answer was Smokey Mountain South.

Reasoning:

Original riddle - 750 across eight - The Alps stretch 750 miles across eight European countries.
Hint 1 - I was a smoker in 2, turned white in 3 - "A smoker in 2" Refers to Smokey Mt. South in GT2, and "Turned white in 3" refers to SMS turning to Swiss Alps in GT3.
Hint 2 - The white mountain - Self explanatory.

I thought of Swiss Alps earlier, but I didn't guess it before because it's not in GT2 and while it's possible that it's based off of Smokey Mountain South from GT2, I don't think that's the case. The 2 rally circuits have different layouts from each other and are in different locations.

I'll take this riddle. It is for a car.

This car was known famously in it's appearance in the earlier GT games, with another icon that still runs today. Sadly, it was only stuck in 1999.
And, think of more pistons!, and more engines! (Hint)

I guess I can have another go.

"Most people think I've appeared here for the first time in 2011, but I've once made a visit in 1999. Well, at least part of me did"
Think racetrack.

Sounds like a hero's car.

- Aston Martin DB6?
- Shelby GT500 '68?
- Dodge Charger 440 R/T '70?
- Pontiac Firebird Trans AM '78?
