OK this is a car riddle
As a racecar, I found my legs in europe, but as a road car, I was a alternative to a famous german sportscar, and my engine, was used in a modern musclecar that ended in a car, that became folklore in Richard Hammonds mind (May and Clarkson hated the sound)
