oh my... thats why my guesses were so wrong... didnt even know that a space cross or suran cross even existed ... :)

Try rewinding two decades back.
 
The Hai seems likely, it looks like a later Esprit if you only look at the right side of the pic, but it's too curvy somehow. Also a later Esprit is same era as the Venturi. Gonna rack my brains for something like the Monteverdi now, might get lucky!

AMC AMX/3? (that's not exactly easy though)

Porsche 914? Front is wrong but there was the SOCA version and other body mods...
