Ford B3 platform and Mazda B platforms everywhere... ;)
 
There has been a Pontiac 1000 as well as a Mazda 1000.

Platform has to be BF or BG to fit the timeline. If it's BF, it HAS to be a derivative of the Capri. Otherwise it's origins lie with the Familia or Laser.
 
The specific platform here is the BH. The Japanese version shared its name with a British helicopter.

Familia-based, built from 1994-1998.
 
We've got a '94 to '97 list of Familias and Laser according to Wiki.

Mazda Familia Neo?

Ford Lynx? It shares its name with a Pontiac model, Pontiac being a french camera maker:sly:.
 
The only Neo based Ford according to Wiki is the Laser Lynx.

That was a tricky one.

Who got it, me or beeblebrox?

And my way of doing this was just sitting and googling every first letter from the Pontiac models having typed "Ford" infront. Didn't get up anything on the Aztek. Curse you search engines.

And, no, I wasn't referring to a French camera maker, Aztec is the name of this car, and a Pontiac.
